The third quarters have been brutal. We came out from half time and let them go on a 12-0 run. I mean Ham had to insert Westbrook to try and stop the bleeding.

I get Lebron is struggling out the gate with foot and flu. But my god him running the offence the last few games has been poor.

Kyrie solves all these offensive woes and very gettable right now but we won’t because virtue signaling instead of winning takes priority

Some things are bigger than a game, you have some very questionable takes here lately.

I'm sorry, but I have no expectations for this team. I didn't feel good about it before the season began and these games so far cetainly haven't helped at all.

I'll be the first to eat my words if we turn things around, but I have 0 confidence. And the worst thing is that I don't think we're in a good spot for the next couple of years.

Thank god we won that chip in 2020, because if not all of this would be real tragedy in my book.

Shooting is still a real problem. This team will continue to stink until it’s addressed.

still on my 20 games kick. though here's a spoiler alert: if we're not near .500, it won't be russ/bev/nunn i'm looking to trade.

What, in your opinion, legitimately changes here in 20 games vs 9 or 10? It’s a bad roster. LeBron can’t carry them, AD fizzles out by 4th quarters. They need to either buy into to LeBron and AD and get them a better team via trades, or blow the entire thing up and rebuild now. Paying this roster what they’re paying them, and the luxury tax, all while likely giving NO a top 10 pick is a failure almost beyond comprehension.

I can’t even WMC, I’m just numb to this team. I’ve resigned myself to this season being a punt. I don’t think there is much out there we can do to right this ship in the middle of the season, I just hope we don’t throw bad money after bad money and throw away our future in desperation.

After Kobe, It's been easy to question why I'm still a fan. The product on the floor has been pretty abysmal outside of a few signings we let walk.

I mean, the season is playing out as many of us feared. The issues with the roster have always been clear. We’re going to end up in a huge hole we can’t get out of.

    Need to make some moves.

Everyone with an ounce of brain knew it. I blame Rob and Jeanie but i know, other teams try to screw us when it comes to trades. Pisses me off

They have the easier schedule in November from here on out.

    In December, it gets tougher.

Better start piling up these wins or it's going to get real tough.

i think we could win 7 out of our second 10 games as easily as we lose 8 out of the first 10. at that point, we're not desperate, and trades won't have to be made unless they are a clear win for us.

you ask me what i expect, but what did everyone else expect? vegas said 45 wins, and i thought that was about what it would be. lebron's wheels falling off in the first ten games probably adjusts that downward. i expected we'd be bad out of the gate with a tough schedule and a brand new coach and roster, and that's what it's been.

and there's no trade capable of making us a real contender this year, so i'd be very judicious about how i moved. myles turner has barely played, and when he does, his team is still bad.

exactly. give the team these next ten games where they have some games they should win and see how it goes. if it's still like this, talk to lebron and AD about whether they want to finish their careers here or not. seriously. give them the option. if they opt in, let them know we're making only future-focused trades at this deadline. if they opt out, let the bidding begin.

I agree. We need some wins here fast.

But I don't think it changes much as far as the need to make moves. This team just isn't good enough.

I thought the Lakerfilmroom podcast went through the pros and cons very well a few episodes back. I'd like to see us put the pieces in place for a roster that can actually work moving forward that can be tweaked with minimums and MLEs instead of depending on them. Stop the carousel of players every offseason and build some chemistry with a core group of guys.

If that's not the plan, then yeah, maybe its time to blow it up.

No one on the roster is untouchable in my honest opinion. Just has to be the right deal. Emphasis on the right deal.

Well, I joke about the 20 games, but I guess you really don't have full flexibility until December 15th, right?

Idk what the plan is anymore. If we lose tonight, we will be 2-8. Last season, we started 5-4 I believe. I'm just over the losing.

I think after 20 games it will be more clear if we need to blow this thing up or not. If 3 HOF'ers can't make the playoffs, then this team needs to be dismantled ASAP.

That's not worth paying luxury taxes for. We are way too top heavy on the roster salaries. We have nice pieces, but we need more of them and better fitting ones.

If we trade AD for expirings, young talent, and assets, and we let RW walk at the end of the year, we have some pretty decent salary cap room.

I will seriously laugh though if RW is the last one standing at the end of the year. I don't think the Lakers ship out lebum though since he'll set one of the most coveted records in sports this year if healthy.

    LeBron is the money.

    He's staying.
