Yeah. Kyrie isn’t apologizing and is definitely willing to go down here.

There’s a lot of issues here but I’m mainly sticking to hoops.

Needless to say we dodged a huge bullet.

Man, thank you for this. This thread has become gross. It’s not a joke, it’s a crime, it’s something people in power do to women and people in lesser positions because they can. But sure let’s joke about it, super mature of this board, weeny waving tee hee. I also find it disgusting anyone here would want Bridges here. And lastly for the record if we trade for Kyrie, I’m out, I don’t support anti-Semites, that is something can’t be brushed off and allowed to fester or we see what can happen, 1939-1945 wasn’t THAT long ago. The fact that Kyrie keeps doubling down is awful, he thinks he’s so smart and enlightened, the smartest person in the room because he knows so much that we don’t, but in reality he’s a conspiracy theory spouting moron. F*** that dude.

Am I missing something? What about the therapists actions show a “complete lack of professionalism”.

Admittedly I didn’t read everything, but from what I did read about her statements and Primo’s lawyer, her story seems very believable.

Primo on the other hand… I do not buy his lawyer’s statement at all. He pulls the race card, then for some reason emphasizes how old the therapist is while describing Josh as “young” (which at best either comes across as a weird deflection of responsibility, ie he’s young so give him a pass, or at worst is some weird insinuation that she wanted it). At certain points he claims that Primo must have not realized he was exposed, at others he outright denies it entirely (but again describing it as an “utter fantasy” as if to suggest she wanted it to happen). Vague appeals to prior trauma to try to get sympathy. Feels like a shotgun style approach to the defense, just trying to throw everything at the wall and hope something sticks.

In regards to the Lakers, he’s not anywhere near good enough for us to take a gamble on that drama.

Ahhh...I should've read more. Thanks. And yea: this twit isn't learning a thing at this point. I remember 4-5 years ago he told the press he thought the "Round Earth" theory was a sham, and I thought, well, no one's that stupid: he's just trolling the press. Turns out he is an effing idiot par excellence.

A fantastically skilled idiot, albeit. And I'm the type of fan: it would be very difficult to remain a Laker fan if he was brought here. And I s*** you not: I've been a fan since 1970. When Artest came here, I shuddered. Then I saw how he was speaking out about mental illness, etc. Redemption! I became a fan of Metta World Peace. Wish the same for Kyrie, but ain't a-holdin' muh breath.

Please let's not re-visit Russ for Kyrie. This is a huge mess and we don't want to go there. He might be done in this league. You can say what you want about Russ -- yes, he thinks he's better than he is, he's delusional, he sulks etc. but ultimately, he's a good dude. He has a good heart.

Kyrie has all the talent in the world, but his mind is not in the right place.

Professionalism as a therapist requires an appropriate response to illegal activity in the therapy sessions. Continuing to see him after the first violation is not appropriate. But she claims he exposed himself to her NINE times. Unless I misunderstand the inference, that does not mean he did it nine times in one single therapy session, but nine separate times over a period of time in nine therapy sessions. Why was she still seeing him? She should have refused to see him even a second time after the first incident. And on the part of the Spurs, why didn't they shut his sessions down with her after her first report?

I agree with you that her story seems believable. What I am questioning is the response.

    Complete circus.

And Udoka is probably about to join them.

I get that Cookie...but this is an extremely personal subject for me. I was falsely accused of sexual assault on my 18th birthday. Totally made up allegation that could have ruined my life. I was arrested, charged, held in jail without bond for 30 days. It was all a lie, not a misunderstanding, a flat out lie. However I was treated as if I was guilty of something. After medical tests revealed that not only had the " victim" not been assaulted, she had still never had sex at all. Inspite of a very detailed statement about what allegedly happened. I was released immediately after this information was turned up by lawyer and all charges dropped. Never got an apology and she was never charged with filing a false complaint. All I recieved was a " Well we have to take these accusations seriously " You are free to go.

So..there is always different sides to a story, that involves something only witnessed by two people. People lie.
Maybe him, maybe the Spurs, and maybe her too. I need more information. I'll leave this situation alone until then though.

I understand there are 2 sides to a story and I wasn’t taking sides. I just made a comment based on what was in the article.

Its possible the first time she thought it was an accident. And it’s possible the second time she began to be confused and concerned. And it’s possible from then on she was scared and didn’t know what to do. We can’t really say IMO what the proper response is if we haven’t been there. Maybe she was afraid she wouldn’t be believed, maybe she was in denial about it for a bit, maybe she didn’t want to lose her job because she’d worked a long time for it. We don’t know these things. What I do know, is that it’s gross to joke about and make light of this situation though.

Seth Curry and O'Neal, hell I'd take a flyer on TJ Warren too. Not for Westbrook though, I'd save him for another move. Well unless KD wants to play with Lebron and AD now.

True Or MAYBE it didn't exactly happen the way she said it did either. Hiring the lawyer involved with all of Watson's " victims " raises an eyebrow. Not enough information available

I didn’t say that though, I said it’s not a joking matter. I’m fine with having questions and not instantly believing one side. I’m sorry what you listed above happened to you too, I know that stuff happens, people are liars and vindictive. I hate injustice, I don’t think a “we have to take all accusations seriously” is sufficient, there should be an apology and possible monetary compensation. I do agree all accusations need to be taken seriously, but they need to be handled better throughout.

No doubt about that, I don't like the way the Spurs handled this situation. However again, I don't know everything, and we are going on this article in the Athletic. Hopefully justice will prevail how ever it turns out.

On another note..I imagine that Kyrie will get some counseling , rehabilitation and be a hot prospect this summer.( maybe by the trade deadline, I wouldn't be shocked).Talent of his caliber is hard to give up on.
