Wait, is that Anti-Greenism? Because I'm an Omniist, and don't want to be misunderstood.

That atrocious 34% three point shooting in the 2020 playoffs that we won in spite of… starting to look real nice right now :D

He is NOT WRONG, so what does it matter whether he was a contributing factor? The roster construction is moronic and ALL of us, save for most of my ignore list, could see this coming a mile away.

his team defense, hoop iq, and willingness to play his role is greatly missed. his shooting isn't. and need i remind everyone that people were screaming about him being too small to guard the big wings while he was here, too. constant claims of needing an upgrade there.

i guess he's not wrong. but why is he talking about it and what did he say that everyone didn't know? if he had some special insight, sure, let's hear it. but: trading good role players for a highly paid, ill-fitting third star was a bad idea isn't something i need to hear from danny green.

i will say that his longer comments about how the pressure of playing here gets to people was interesting (and somehow got buried by the aggregators). gave us a glimpse into why he went from marksman to blanksman in his time here. and it definitely supports the idea that trading him was the right move.

Well he sure took a ton of unfair heat for the pick ups of Lonnie and Troy as if they were total scrubs. Scoreboard Rob …. loss armchair scouts here. IMO. At the very least on defense alone they are adequate to actually good at times, athletic and both have some real nice offensive potential to them.

I wasn’t familiar with either and I’m pleasantly surprised by both.

Green shot 37.8 and 40.8 percent in the playoffs with Sixers. Teams are always much better with him on the floor than off and that was the case here as well.

yeah, green was a good save after the kawhi fiasco (and good management finesse, too, as he had a standing offer at the same amount from dallas that year). i also thought that him and a 1st for schroder was a good move.

It's unfortunate that Bryant and Schroder had to have thumb surgeries. Rob had a very solid offseason IMO.

Yeah, this team is sooo fun to watch and they are really turning those abysmal shooting numbers around!

the most pleasant surprises on the team have been lonnie and troy brown, our mini mle and vet min pickups. given that's all we had to work with, i'd say he nailed it, tbh.
