Yeah, that's my hope. Bring in some solid role players. If we can do that and maintain a pick, bring one back, or some kind of swap then I'm good with it at this point.
Overall, I feel like even if we can't turn around this season we can at least lay the groundwork for a good team next year instead of having to again assemble a bunch of random guys and hoping they gel together in a couple of weeks. We should actively try to improve the team. Definitely the sooner the better, but if it comes late I think we should still pull the trigger for the reasons I've already mentioned.

As for panicking, I still don't think making a deal is a panic move. It's a reality move based on what we have and what we need to build a fully functional team. Again, we've extended LeBron. Moves should be based on building a good team that we can tweak and add functionality to using minimums not using the minimums to completely build the roster.

I find it sad and hilarious that this FO thought this team had a shot at a “chip”. The message should be just building something, playing to win each game, there is no chip in this roster’s future. But yeah that “No I in team” stuff is cheesy as hell.
This is so incredibly corny… man early on I thought Rob was this suave guy, maybe a little eccentric but he had a mystique about him. But as time goes on, you realize he’s just Michael Scott failing upwards.
