Can we please not let this escalate into any political nonsense discussion? Why are we like this as a society? Why does Kyrie promoting something deplorable mean hey let’s go dig in Joe Tsai’s past? Both are bad! One doesn’t excuse the other, fans are pathetic trying to defend their favorite player’s inexcusable actions. Screw Kyrie though, so glad we didn’t get him, nutjob.

Ok…? This isn’t basketball related, it’s not actually news, trade related, free agent related, a rumor, etc. I’m not sure what I’m supposed to take from what you posted here.

I’m just showing Kyrie’s side on this before he’s obliterated for his free thinking again

Permabans for everyone who even thinks about it.

    "Lebronshame"

But to be fair to all parties involved: I don't care enough about their personal beliefs to research the film in question, or books they read, or anything else. I watch them play basketball. I'm entertained by that. Sometimes when they decide to speak out - just like clueless Hollywood celebrities that think their opinion matters, my opinion of them drops a peg or two.

Just want to enjoy some decent basketball. This is why we can't have nice things.

Kuz Harrell KCP THT and Caruso would have filled up those missing scoring droughts. Rob’s hubris thinking 2020 team can be replicated easily when the fact is continuity is very important

    This.

It’s sad that whataboutism has devolved us this far at such scale. Also agree about being happy that we didn’t go out and get him. The guy is a mess and would torpedo any team chemistry (assuming we built some).

i don't get it. 5 games is a small sample size.

do you expect the season to shake out like this?

    upload_2022-10-29_12-41-59.png

i'm not saying slick was right or anything at all like that. but it's not like we'll never win a game. we've played zero bad teams, nor have we faced an opponent missing a key player. that stuff will happen over the next 77 games. likely enough for us to win more than we did last year. it's just not going to happen in the next few days.

    Yes, guise.

AD won't get injured, it's only been 5 games, guise.

Top 3 team in the West, guise.

It's a lost cause. Everyone who's pushing for a trade using the picks are the same who will criticize using picks that hurt us for five years in a 2y window with an old LeBron and a forever hurt AD

It's very easy to run a franchise through internet commenting

We should had won that Portland game, would change a bit the narrative.
Also, Schroder may play a key role in this team with his scoring, hope he gets back quick

So, then whats the ask? Shut down the forum and no one comments until the team starts winning?

We are 0-5 today. We are shooting poorly right now.

    The comments reflect that.

And yes people want a trade. Our coach is practically begging for a scorer in his presser.

If we are 20-15 in December / January or whatever, then I’ll be right there praising the team for weathering the storm and getting a miraculous turnaround. Until then, we’re here.

And honestly the takes here aren’t even bad. Even the guys I would say are consistently negative no matter what aren’t that bad and certainly no worse than the “we’re top three in the west” or “well we almost won a couple of those why are you guys worried” takes.

There’s two winless teams. We’re one of them.
    We can’t shoot.
Our star big man is having back issues.
    Our other star is old.
I could go on but I’ll stop there.

The main reason for thinking it will turn around is because it’s actually hard to keep missing as many shots as we were missing.

There’s legit reason for doubt and concern.

Also ignoring how bad we’ve looked now because you’re against a deal wouldn’t be any better than piling on because you want one

I’m okay giving a poverty franchise like the Pelicans Wenbanyama. We are now like the Clippers-past surrendering lottery picks to other teams. The Roman Empire has met its end.

That's why I suggested the Gordon trade. Admittedly, he could be washed, too.

We need another shooter in the starting lineup. I really liked what Brown gave us yesterday (besides his 4 TO's). Starting Bev is basically useless.

I'd probably just go: Reaves, Walker, Brown, James, and Davis. I'd play more Gabriel going forward and try to limit AD's minutes at the 5 and load manage him.

If we can get the W at home against Denver (tall task), that would be a big morale booster. Bringing Russ off the bench, helps. Just need to sit Bev's a** down now...

I mean, it honestly seems like guys don’t think handing the Pelicans a top Three pick this year is that big a deal.

Yeah. That’s the lineup I like for us too.

Bring Bev and Russ off the bench.

We need anyone who can help us score. I’m not necessarily turning my nose up to anyone at this point. There’s moves that can be made here that can help us now and moving forward.
