yeah, those were bad choices. the lopez one, in particular, was so incredibly bad. could have easily retained him for peanuts and had his bird rights going forward. would have changed some things for sure.

and this isn't monday morning quarterbacking, i and many others, iirc, were confounded when we let him walk at that price.

Our best shooter was delivering food to people's front door a year ago. And he's only hitting the 3 ball in the mid 30s.

    Let that settle in.

If you cannot hit a 3, if you cannot defend at a top tier level, if you cannot dominate the glass, if you cannot play turnover free basketball you are going to lose. Currently, this team cannot accomplish one of those tasks. To win, you need to be good at 3 of the 4.

^I would also add FT shooting. This team sucks. I'm just hoping the Pels end up with a worse record than us.

I predict a 40 pt beatdown by the Clips next game.

25 pts is my guess on final margin, but we'll be down by that much in the first half and never threaten.

i'm sure at least 2 of their 9 role players who make 8 figures per will go off.

    Naw, that’s not our MO.

We’ll go down 20-30 in the first half, and then make a late “comeback” in the fourth quarter to cut it down to like 10-15 points while our best players go against the Clips garbage time players.

Announcers and crowd will start buzzing as if they might make it a game, but then Clips will quickly push it back up to a 20-30 point game.

I mean... had we made even an average % of open looks we are getting, we'd be blowing these fools out.

Russ, Nunn and Bev were not NBA caliber players on offense. But they combine for what?... over $60m of our cap.

We have no shooting. Waste of good effort everywhere else tonight when you look like the worst shooting team in the history of basketball.

Question about the open 3s we’re missing. Are they a result of good offensive execution or is the defense giving them to us? It’s clearly both, and a chicken/egg thing, but what is the ratio?

This can’t go on. They played their a**es off on defense and came back twice, made the Clippers look mediocre at times, and it’s all for nothing because they can’t shoot for s***. They missed like 13 or 14 straight threes to finish the game. This isn’t an actual basketball product, it can’t go on. LeBron can’t carry these dudes, AD is ALREADY hurting again, this roster will break these guys. I don’t know what you do, but you gotta do something, maybe start with not starting Russ and Bev.

I’d say it’s like 50/50. They are daring Russ to shoot for sure, they’re leaving Beverley, they’re iffy on AD. Paint is just packed.

Good team in here but you can't have 3 guards (Brick, Nunn, and Beverley) not being able to hit any 3's. Literally no 3's. I don't see why Bev and Nunn can't turn it around? Maybe I'm just smoking the hopium
