    Feels like it’s gonna be a loooong painful season. I said before I thought we looked like a 7-8 seed, but if tonight was any indication I’m revising that assessment to an 8-10th place team.

    Ok, but no, seriously, this is a garbage roster. You can’t start Russ, Walker, and Bev. Bev isn’t a goddamn small forward. Nunn and Walker aren’t gonna guard Klay. We’re too small, I do not care what anyone says to the contrary, we are too SMALL. We also can’t shoot for s***, worst 3 point shooting team on paper in the league, go figure that would translate to real life. Hell, not even just from 3, we couldn’t shoot outside the paint at all. Matt Ryan played 18 mins, this dude I had never heard of a few weeks ago, basically a guy off the street, is being relied on this heavily! But sure, Walker will learn to shoot, Reaves will learn to shoot. Russ will suddenly defend and do the dirty work, AD will suddenly be a center, Bev will turn into a SF, it’ll all be fine. No, it won’t. This is last season all over again, gonna be a long ride. Russ and LeBron, some of the role players as well already look like they’re over it, even AD looked frustrated.

    I just can’t stop marveling at how bad this team looked. Like I’m not even blaming Russ, he played fine overall, but at the same time he also looks lost. Like he doesn’t know his role or when to attack or defer to LeBron, they regularly get in each other's way because they are the same basic player. How do you put this roster around our stars, how do you try to make players suddenly what they aren’t? Pat Bev isn’t the guy they’re trying to make him, Reaves isn’t the player they’re using him as, Walker I don’t even know what they want from him, it’s all such a mess.

    47 million to him. Just destroys the cap and leaves us filling out our roster with vet minimums. His skillset is pretty redundant and when he's off ball his man just loads up on Lebron/AD to disrupt all action.

    It’s almost like putting an entirely different roster aside from like 3-5 guys every season isn’t a great recipe for starting off well, continuity, chemistry…

    We're awful, OMG.

    Bad team defense, no shooting 3s, no shooting at all.
    Davis and Lebron look good but they cannot do everything, they need a decent supporting cast that we don't have.

    Bev is terrible, gone out with fouls problem giving nothing on both sides.
    Westbrook being Westbrook, nothing to say.

    JTA, Walker, Reeves, Gabriel could be decent but we need players who're able to defend and shoot.

    Honestly, I don't know if we need that trade with the Pacers.. This team looks so bad, maybe we are far away from a winning position more than that trade, which could impact a lot on our future..
