We'll see, I think they will be entertaining, but not a favorite to come out of the East. Injuries play a part as always but, seriously, their top 5 all have injury concerns.

Kemba is listed at 6'0", but is really 5'11". He's perfect, I'd say.

disagree with svtzr that simmons can start at center, but i agree with him on everything else. bkn is very well-built to win in the current nba. embiid and jokic have to guard folks, too, and they'll need to score 60 to really punish you for not playing a behemoth at center, imo. can they?

but bkn can start simmons at the 4 and play him as a backup 5 against 90% of the league and win that matchup. i just don't trust kd's physical health and kyrie's mental health. i'm also dubious that joe harris shows up as the joe harris we last saw, or that mills and warren still have it. but i get why someone could buy all of those things going in bkn's favor, too.

Brooklyn's problems are leadership, health, coaching, chemistry. Which is a lot to overcome. They will win some games, sure, but they can't win it all. About Simmons: he's a good fit for them, at least in theory.

I would have much rather traded THT for Crowder instead of Beverley

Calling it now. If we enter next summer with $30m and don't get Kyrie to take it, it's all going to Dray. 1) Klutch. 2) He and Bron are VERY close.

Why wasn't she disciplined? An affair is a two way street, she was the one that was married.

Meh..Green isn't worth 30 million. Why would we need him anyway?

Why do we need only Klutch FAs or why do we need 10 point guards? Needs don't mean much here. I agree he isn't worth that and we don't need him. But I would take the Vegas odds that if he leaves and if we miss on Kyrie but still spend next summer, it's on Dray.

Well what was her job in the organization? I haven’t seen it reported anywhere. If he was above her in the organization, it’s probably the power dynamic that was the biggest problem.

Klutch clients probably have more championship rings than any other agency. So I'm not opposed on any kind of principle to signing them. On the subject of Green, I don't see the need for his skillset at his age, for that kind of bread.I think the Klutch thing is a bit overblown.

More so defensive matchups with the positioning. But with that roster and acquiring Fournier and Hield, he’d most likely be squeezed out of the rotation which is hilarious considering he was the MLE signing.

    Pelinka’s terrible.

Again, I am not suggesting by any means that signing Green is a good idea. BUT Bron will want it and we at least try to give Bron what he wants. AD (yes), Russ (yes), Kyrie (tried), getting rid of Russ (tried), the parade of point guards we've ushered in over the years (yes). Bron and Dray are close, so much that they're posting the same IG stories while sitting next to each other on the couch, watching hoops. They're vacationing together. Just watch their interaction during GSW games. I think his value is in the mid teens...$14-16m, maybe more if you're a team like Memphis who could use that leadership jolt (although that will never happen after their beef in the playoffs). But he'll get another contract similar to the one he's on due the intangibles. With his desire to grow his media presence and position himself for life after playing, LA makes a lot of sense for him.

You think the "Klutch thing" is overblown???...

Bron, AD, Nunn, Walker, JTA, Brown, Pip jr

Former Lakers: KCP, THT, McLemore, JR, Waiters, Trezz (was with Klutch)

Anytime we've had money, it's gone to a Klutch player. We've pursued for their players due to agency pressure: Wall and Reddish. Lavine and Simmons got linked to us in trade rumors as an agency favor to pressure their team.

You could get a CSI tech to dust our team for prints and you'd see Rich Paul all over it. Ray Charles can see this.

Little surprised Matt is able to split his time between the Colts and a non guaranteed NBA deal. (Joking)

Guess the Bacon workout the other week went well.

I don't have a Klutch issue tho..they represent some good players, our two best players, and some other guys that we won a chip with. If this current crop produces a similar result , I'm all good with it. My comment about it being overblown, is on whether it's really a bad thing or not.

All these people with The Nets penciled in as champs this year already,,,,I see, so Simmons is gonna slide into that leadership role for the team then? Fill that void with his mental stableness? Yeah, they're the Dream Team alright.
