    Lots of minutes you say?

I hope it means a trade... but maybe we have plans to play Lebron at the 5 again with 4 guards... who knows!

You have to believe a trade is coming. Too many PGs. I think it’s possible Nunn gets moved as well if we’re trying to get Clarkson, maybe they don’t thin they can rely on him playing

schroder at min is a no-brainer signing, imo. i don't even have a grudge from his time before. i actually feel bad for him and hope to see him and/or russ redeem themselves in lakerland this year.

edit: my only concern is that this actually makes a russ buyout much more palatable. but not to my palate.

you must extract some value from him.

As a backup, if he has matured and doesn’t complain , okay. For me, he has no business starting for theLakers, even if Westbrick is gone.
Yet another move which shows just how out of touch Jeanie is with what kind of team, WE, the fans want. She constantly preaches about caring about the type of team that we would be proud to root for, while at the same time allows Rob to fill up the roster with players who we can’t stand. At least I still have Reaves to root for. What a sh!tshow.

Skill wise Schroeder is a no brainer. Especially at that price.

That said, he thought he was way better than he actually was when he was on the Lakers, turned down an amazing opportunity to become a key piece on a Lakers team that could have gone somewhere, and that lead us to trading Kuz and KCP for Westbrook…. then he got a C Bags tattoo….

How do you say f*** you in German?

Does Rob know the difference between "guarding someone" and "signing a guard"? Not joking.

Currently we have 4 PGs who want starting PG minutes and still your best point guard option when all the chips are on the table is Bron.

In a vacuum, it's a good move. He's balling out for Germany right now. But this roster is currently about as poorly constructed as it gets. If you pulled random names out of a bingo cage you'd probably do better. This better mean Russ is gone. If it doesn't then it means Nunn is dead and we expect 40 games tops from Bev. It's also a very moody group at the position.

This Schroeder move feels like the last straw for me. What happened to Jerry West and character counting? Sure Schroeder at the minimum looks good on paper, but so what? We’ve seen him up close. The guy is a P-U-N-K. And PatBev? And possibly still Russ? Seriously, is the idea for me to hate this roster? I have never not watched the Lakers, but this might finally be the season I tune out.

Trade Russ & Nunn for Jordan Clarkson, Bog and Beasley. If they can't trade him to both the Jazz & Pacers, hopefully they can trade Nunn for Cam Reddish.

I watched a Lakers team win 15 games and Byron Scott coach; I can live with this...

Meh..The season hasn't even started yet, we have talent, we have youth, athleticism and two of the best players in the NBA. The first preseason game is on September 30th. I'm frigging borderline excited!!! Last season is done and over with, I'm looking forward to this one!

Low key we’ve actually got an interesting guard rotation with legit quality and an interesting big rotation with legit quality.

I feel like you can afford to go small at the 2 with Nunn and Bev if you have AD and another big protecting the paint.

Schroeder is a chucker and plays zero D. Watch him shoot 27% from 3 on 6 attempts per game :(

You may dislike the guy and that’s fine.

But objectively he will shoot 3-4 three point attempts and hit them around 34%. He’ll also attack the basket well and hit his free throws.

^ not if he starts he won't. You guys can say what you want, but this roster is constructed terribly. It will be a disaster.
