At the time Kuz and Trez were the expected package, then the holdup was that Sacramento wanted the draft pick. Then it shifted to a Russ deal seemingly out of nowhere. It wasn't out of nowhere at all, because Washington had already declined that trade. Westbrook made his pitch to the Wizards owner to get it done.
Well Medina didn't softball her and kept digging with hard questions. Which Jeanie smartly answered and with class and limits (understandably) in her answers. She's a smart lady. Good interview.
good interview. agree that the interviewer doesn't let her off the hook too easy (though doesn't go all the way in on it, either, which is understandable). that was hard to read. interesting response. the mention of david stern in the mix with mentors was pretty f***ed up for me, tbh. f*** that guy. like, 1000x. overall, my between-the-lines reading is she thinks we're dead in the water for now, which is troubling. i also get the sense that rob has one more offseason, max.
I knew money was tight but having to flip PS5s to keep the business afloat...yikes! Need to scrape together every extra penny before presenting Bron with the extension offer this week.
been here all along? you mean since 2017? because kurt was failing his way out of the league up until he received a job with no accountability.
How do we know these outlandish statements about no accountability to be true? He was the one trying to keep Frank accountable to keep Westbrook accountable. I count multiple layers of leadership and accountability in just that one act alone. And I bet he didn't even need guidance.
