I’ve got to think we’re holding out for a good deal like some of the ones mentioned. I think both picks will be used I just want us to put together something that really moves the needle and helps the team.

Oh yeah. Protected picks are a must. Prefer top 10 naturally but at least top 5.

I honestly don’t know how I would feel about a Laker squad led by LeGM, SlimSnakeBoy, and Kyrie.
Might as well just add Blake Griffin and Pat Bev if that were to happen.

i know everyone thinks kd is going to go on forever and AD is dead, but i'm...not at all sure of that. if they're getting AD for kd, i'm going to be INCREDIBLY stingy on draft compensation. like maybe none. he's 6 years older and has played less than AD of late. perspective.

If Lebron, AD and Kyrie aren't a title contender if healthy, then water isn't wet.

i think folks are betting against the very long odds that all three guys are there for a full playoff run (or enough of the regular season not to make the playoff run a war of attrition).

Meh..we wouldn't be in any worse position than anybody else. Guys get injured every year. I'm more optimistic that we've already had our bad luck on that front.

It's also relevant that I think LeBron and AD would have played more if we weren't fighting for a play-in that would get us swept by the Suns

But yeah, I honestly don't know how much will they play next year, biggest question mark of the season, regardless of any trade

I do feel like we’ve got to catch a break with injuries at some point.

AD and Bron were magic in the bubble..the entire season before the shutdown actually. This pairing can't end like this. It just CAN'T.

the question is whether or not it's random noise. i think AD's last two years are, but lebron's aren't. and kyrie's pattern is career-long and not at all random. you should expect him to miss a lot of time.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but the Lakers signing Huff might be a sign that we are getting Kyrie. My reasoning for this is the fact that Huff is literally the same type of player as Turner and we already have two other centers on our roster who we just signed (Bryant is also a player in the mold of Turner and Huff). I am not trying to overrate Huff, but I bet you this guy is ready to contribute and has as a much higher ceiling than most people anticipate. I'm sure the Lakers have taken notice of that. So if we were to get Turner and we end up cutting Huff, it could come back to bite the Lakers in the behind.

My hope would be that we could load manage LeBron a bit. Kyrie will miss time. We’d have to get lucky that he would be here for a playoff run

That makes absolutely no sense at all to me. What has this got to do with Kyrie?

Lol..I guess he's saying that we'd have 3 centers all ready, so we are only looking to move Russ for Kyrie?

I really like Huff as well and think he can definitely play in this league. He’s got the skill set to potentially be a really nice role player.

Having said that, I thought his signing was just a Exhibit-10 contract which means it’s basically just a training camp invite.

Even if he did sign a full season minimum contract (would not mind this at all), I don’t necessarily think that’s a sign Kyrie is coming.
It would be a sign that Myles Turner is most likely not coming….. and that’s it lol. Kyrie, Hield, Eric Gordon are all up in the air still

Only on this forum could a trio of KD, Kyrie and LeBron receive skepticism. That team would annihilate the league.

It’s not the talent, it’s the availability, due to all the well documented reasons.

If we were giving AD for KD I'd do the opposite of what some are saying and demand a pick from BRK + KD. And more.

He's old, period, he could break down and already has shown it. I'd tell them give me KD + a FRP + you take Westbrook and give us Kyrie and Curry, you can have THT if you want and if you don't like it go f*** yourself. Go do better. Go get Brown, White and the pick from the C-Bags and have fun packing them in at Barclays.
