I'm super high on Clarkson. I also think he might go through a bit of a sophmore slump this year. I hope I'm wrong.

I think part of the reason for that will be that he won't be our starting pg. I'd like him as 6th man.

He went from a NBA body that needs to fill in, to looking like a Ray Allen body type currently. Very nice.

No homo of course, pause, all that jazz.

If Russell stays, I'm stoked for the 3 headed monster at our guard positions. Stay tuned..

Didn't Scott say in the interview after drafting Russell that Clarkson has been elevating his game to another level or something along those lines? Another level based on his rokie sounds like pure gold to me, and Scott is not one to overpraise his players. We're going to have a hell of a backcourt duo. this coming season. I may just watch some summer league games this year for the first time in my life, that's how excited I am about those young studs

Clarkson obviously putting in work, great to see, he looks like he's in fantastic shape. He's still gotta have that chip on his shoulder, clearly wants to keep improving and prove he was drafted way too low. Hopefully Kobe and Scott are in his ear pushing him to keep working. Kobe by example and through texts no doubt, and Scott by praising him, yet telling him playing time still has to be earned.

I said it in the Russell Thread but maaaaaaaan... Those two on the perimeter is going to be fun I think. I'm still unsure of Russell being able to get into the paint easily on his own the way Clarkson does, but I think Russell will have a much better feel for pick and roll game. The way that Clarkson is constantly on the move though is going to be HUGE for Russell.

I think Clarkson back-door is going to be a theme that other defenses will have to plan for. I think Clarkson drive and kick to Russell is something that'll work all year long. I don't see Curry still in D'Angelo, but I see Ginobili and that's great too.

I'm really excited to see these two get a feel for each in Summer League.

Too many pictures of half naked men with adjectives like "thick" and "solid" being thrown around. Starting to get about as homoerotic in here as a WWE event.

    And this...

    What-is-happening?

Clarkson is serious about his honing his overall play and enhancing his career. Now he just has to have not too much adobos and lumpias.

It's the bibingkas and lechons that he should be wary of. Stay away from family gatherings where aunts force you to eat every dish.

Is it October yet? I can't wait for this upcoming season. Especially after last year. So much to be excited about with this team.

JC almost killed me last year towards the end of fantasy basketball season. The dude I faced in the championship round picked him up and he was balling. If he's that much imroved going into this year with the addition of Russell, Kobe's last stand, all the reports about Julius looking real good. If we don't strike out in free agency we're gonna be right back on top.

It was what Clarkson said he envisioned so I'm guessing there's a reason for that vision...

But that lineup isn't that small. Clarkson and Russell are both 6'5" with their shoes on and Kobe is 6'6" with his on. That's not that small actually.

You're totally right, which is why I was tempted to put "small" prior haha. Russell has advantage on Pgs, lose it by a hair at SF but it's Kobe, he has it on offense(I don't care whose guarding him), so technically it's a push, right? ;)

I mean they're all roughly the same height... eventually at some point this season we'll probably see them switch on defense a lot. That'll mean Kobe on PGs sometimes and Clarkson on SFs. We're not going to be lock down defenders anyway. I think it could be a good idea. Randle might be able to switch some too.
