Yes I agree- yet 99% of the time on the media they are making it about KD "being tired of Irving" as the talking point instead of the OBVIOUS (why else do it AFTER Kyrie opts in lol) that he asked to be out because they wouldn't sign Kyrie long term....

Then, these same knuckle heads who fed this garbage want to say now that KD might just come back to Brooklyn WITH IRVING because his team would be better than any of the destinations that will be gutted for him....huh? Wouldn't Irving have to be traded since that is why he demanded the trade to begin with???

Absolute nonsense and not a one of them can go to KD and get him to answer this question (not that the man would answer it honestly anyways)

From what I've gathered, it's mostly that Brooklyn won't commit long term to Kyrie. If they inked him this probably doesn't happen. Blessing in disguise for KD honestly.

beal's wise to the game. secure the bag, then move if you want. i actually think it's possible he's a lifer, though, given his comments.

his complete insanity got in the way of his contributions. he's the kyrie irving of messageboarders.

Yes, but that isn't what each knucklehead says on TV....one after one they say it is because "KD can't deal with Kyrie anymore"

    Why lie to us repeatedly????

About the brother, that's true but it wasn't readily apparent how inept he and Kupchak were until the Kobe/Nash injuries and trying to save the ship with the Deng/Mosgov signings, to her credit Buss/Kupchak were fired 7 months later. Not bad considering her dad specifically told her he wanted Jim running the basketball operations.

Saying Jeanie has been penny-pinching is absolutely unfounded and ridiculous. We had the 4th highest cap last year competing against multi-billionaires which the Busses are not. 45 million above the cap. Saying Lebron saved us is true, but Jeanie had to create an environment that would be attractive to Lebron to come over. And she set out to do that specifically on Kobe's advice and that is what closed him, not Magic, he repeatedly asked questions about Jeanie and the organization to Kobe and Magic. Our FO hasn't been perfect, few have but we did get a chip and things may turn around here quickly. If you are that disgusted maybe you should find another team. Clips have the richest owner......

i can split the difference. jeanie's management strategy isn't a big upgrade over jim's, but she definitely got more of the genuineness that made the patriarch an icon.

just wish the rambii didn't have their hooks in her. your greatest strengths are often your greatest weaknesses, and she's loyal.

funny, my first project as a grad student was about loyalty, and at the end, my advisor and i had a long discussion about whether it was a good thing.

Loyalty is a good quality in an owner until it becomes the main thing or the only thing. Doc Buss was loyal to Jerry West until it was time to move on. He was loyal to Shaq until Shaq screamed "Pay me!" at him in front of everyone at a game.

again, woj and shams are cheeky with their phrasing. what haynes is saying could be perfectly in line with their reports depending upon whatever subjective value one assigns to "traction" might be. that woj is a clever bastard. he didn't get rich from his good looks.

Woj's biggest job is to make it seem like things are happening even when nothing new is happening. If there is nothing going on, he has NO job.

That's the second workout he has had.

There has to be a move coming.

If not, I don't get the obsession either...

Idk. This is like the third off-season in a row we worked him out.

I don't think I've read anywhere about any affiliation to Rob or Klutch.

    Just weird.

Agree. This is beyond stoopid at this point. Augustin played fine last year for end of the bench. Collison is done and done did it to himself. Bring in Bev FFS if they absolutely can’t shake their can’t have too many guards addiction.
