Gotta imagine the other teams are going to get sick of this at some point since the Durant situation seems to be holding up other moves. Nets need to make a decision on both players.

we have Jeanies idiotic self as our CEO, who has her best buddies Kurt and Linda As her #2, and #3. She has been penny pinching for years as well.

Her equally idiotic brother destroyed our cap space for years with those deng and mosgov signings. If it wasn’t for lebron, we wouldn’t even be a top 6 seed in the last four years.

that one ring lebron won us was even MORE of a reason to give him whatever he wants… Our FO is trash; we shouldn’t side with them for anything.

good news is that because kyrie and russ play the same spot, we can basically just wait it out. i don't think it has a dramatic effect on the rest of our team building, which is nearly done.

i mean, if we move THT, it will be for a 3/4 type regardless, right?

Jeanie is in NO way on the level of her brother. That’s some serious hating. Your opinion or not.

I’m hoping Rob has learned his lesson and becomes a tough negotiator, ignoring LeBron breathing down his neck. He made a mistake with Russ, have to learn from that. He didn’t make a mistake not trading Russ at the deadline with a first for junk, that was wise. Here’s hoping he holds firm and doesn’t make a mistake trading Russ with TWO firsts now. Don’t bid against yourself, call the Nets bluff. Kyrie is a headcase, he’s injury prone, he’s fickle, we take on all that risk, all they take on is one year of Russ’ salary.

again, windhorst seems to be reading this right, imo. i didn't think barnes would be on the table for toronto. siakam's the centerpiece. if you get anunoby, too, then draft compensation is lowered. if you get trent, you get the better pick package.

i like toronto's potential offers more than phx's, tbh. and i think toronto would deal for kd against his wishes.

lol didn't we have an ill-fated PG watch, too? kyrie situation could go that way, too.

yeah, it's pretty silly to me. i get that it's the gm's job to get the best possible deal, but you could faced with him walking for nothing at the end of the year. OR you could be in the same situation (big contract coming off the books) with a) a player who probably will be on a mission to prove everyone wrong and b) some extra (mild) compensation. if they're so ready to be rid of him that they played hardball in contract negotiations, they needed to know that's where it was headed.
