    Pelinka typically leaks through Shams, but GMs do play games from time to time as reporters try to "earn their favor" so to speak. Don't know much about BKN's style, though.

    Woj vehemently insisted on February 9th that there had been no Harden/Simmons trade discussions. On February 10th, Harden was traded for Simmons. He's plugged in around the league and reports exactly what someone tells him to report.

    bingo. there's a lot of careful wording from the insiders, too.

    for example, i can have a discussion centered on trading my $5 for a maserati. it would be a short discussion, but there could have been a discussion.

    Yeah, this. Take it or leave it, Nets. If this doesn’t get done by the end of summer league, if it’s me I’m moving on to try other deals, I like the Hield/Turner route if it’s legit.
