Kam bros brought up an interesting point that I hadn't thought about (was too busy being irritated with DET), the Pistons are interested in Bridges. Clearing this space puts them in position to chase both Ayton and Bridges (they've been linked to Brunson too but hopefully it's either DAL or NYK for him). In theory, this could help our negotiation leverage with the Charlotte so they're in better position to extend Bridges.

^^^ We can dream. Maybe Bron is telling him he will opt out and re-sign for way less money next year so Kyrie can get a big pay raise over what he’d have to take with the TP mid level this year and be setting up Kyrie to go forward with AD as well. And Ham will be the Kyrie whisperer. And Lakers can shock the world this year.

    The article wasn't sourced.

    It's just his opinion, right?

    I'm not worried about it.

Oh, my comment was just sarcasm. I don't see it happening.

I do find it pretty amazing how so many guys who have played less games than AD avoid getting labeled but that's another rant or a different thread.

If I had to predict a trade, I'd say Charlotte was our best bet. I'd put OKC in the mix too but lower. I imagine there is a darkhorse team we're not aware of who is in the mix too.

Yeah. I know you've spoken on that one many times. It drives me nuts honestly. Just waiting for all the predictions of Kyrie, Kawhi, Wall, etc etc still being at their tops of their games despite being injury prone and unavailable.

charlotte for sure, which is why i'm hoping they do nothing tonight. if they do anything with hayward, we lose a big chance. i don't see any chance with okc unless it's a big shocker of a three-way in which we pay both our picks for them to absorb a bunch of russ and we get an allstar player back from some third team. can't see it right now.

i still think the knicks strike out like always, and we go back to the table there.

so annoying/stupid. guys get hurt all the time. some more often than AD. but he's meme-d about it by his own fanbase and the national press. it's bizarre, really. but kawhi catches zero flack for being basically a theoretical player.

To add to that based off what Stein just posted, Pistons are higher on Bridges than Brunson

so this is what we all were wary of if we signed Lebron James. Overpaid marginal players, no flexibility, leaves the organization in salary cap/talent hell upon leaving.

Seems like it's headed that way. It's like doing business with the devil, but most fans were up for it.

    "Lebronshame"

Don't complain now. You wanted this.

A lot of our work has to be done tonight.

Last year, we signed a bunch of undrafted FA's - the only one that stands out in my head is Dozier who is now with the Nuggets who is actively in their rotation.

We need to go to work.

Most the scrap heap we are working out isn't going to cut it.

    Like abeer said, maybe Knicks.

I’d throw Orlando in there as well.

I’m scared of a Hayward for Myles Turner trade. If I remember correctly, Indiana has tried to get Hayward before
