@LaVarBallsDad above with that quote ...

There's the old LeBron MO all teams get bent over with / chickens coming home to crap .... errrr .... roost, whatever. Go Warriors! At least hope we remain tied with C-bags. Thanks for the ring schmucko. Can't believe @sirronstuff honking this guy to no end as his favorite player these past 3 years.

hmm...i don't know if lebron's decision impacts mine, tbh. if anything, he should make his choice early to impact the lakers' FO, right?

if he doesn't agree to an extension, i operate as if he's gone. which means i'm keeping russ and letting him expire, and i'm moving zero future picks for any reason. if lebron wants to pout, we can trade him this year!

anyway, i highly doubt there's been no communication about this, as the article seems to suggest. it's just that WE don't know what they're talking about right now.

i'll reiterate: we're not paralyzed. almost nobody will have his 50 million in FA, and that team certainly won't be very good if they have that cash to spare.

he needs us to play ball, contract-wise. this is bs media stuff, imo.

I’d be ok with Bron walking. 50 million is too much for his old age.

Lebron wants to join the Warriors so he can tie Kobe in rings.

I’d trade Lebron to the warriors for Poole, Kuminga and Wiggins.

Trade THT, Nunn and a 1st for a 3&D Center.

    Poole
    Kuminga/Reaves
    Wiggins/Stan
    AD
    Turner

Of course they will, Lebron has 2-3 seasons at most left. Poole and Kuminga have 10 at the very least and wiggins 5 at the minimum.

it's a tough one. the FA market is likely pretty weak next year, so it may be that 50 million spent there is worse than just giving it to lebron. actually likely that it is. but again, if lebron wants money, we're the best bet. will there be a team with an AD-level player already in place that has enough to pay him? doubtful.

now if he asks for a trade...we're actually in a good spot, imo. wherever he wants to go will be a title team and because his salary is so big, we'd almost have to get something useful back.

but no, gs wouldn't do that. they'd offer draymond as the biggest salary piece would be my guess. if they threw in poole (on his new contract--i'm imagining this happens next deadline) and say, moody, i'm probably listening.

again, though, i don't think we're in as bad a shape as people say right now. our books are pretty clear going forward, and we may have our picks back as soon as 2025. lebron really can't hold us hostage anymore, imo.

lol, done. i'd worry about defense, but russ was so bad there, there's no downside.
