hard to imagine the clips keeping both zubac and hartenstein, but then again, they'll spend whatever, so who knows?

Theyll keep both and sign another two good wings while they’re at it, also pick up John Wall and build a new stadium and training facilities.

    Balmer money.

i know, i know. it's hard. our past success can't carry us much longer. lebron was an extension/reprieve.

when our in-city rivals can double our spending at almost all spots, we're in trouble.

LA isn’t the spot it was anymore for business either - NorCal and San Fran take that cake and is why GSW can overspend too.

And I’m pretty sure after the LAC & GSW tier of spending, we have the owners with the least net worth amongst the large markers like the New York teams and Texas.

    Precious....

Well, here we have a dude (TV personality) with the surname pronounced "Pines". His first name? Guy.

Talk about parents being.... borderline abusive.

Yeah, people thinking that the Buss’ owning the Lakers are keeping up just aren’t paying attention.

that had been reported elsewhere, but he's set to be an RFA, so i think a) he can't be traded right now (thus would have to be an S&T), and b) his status may make a trade really difficult.

only hope with RFAs if you're over the cap is that their team rescinds the QO and they can just sign outright. pretty rare, but we did it with randle.

a scenario like this that is unlikely, but possible would be orlando say, getting lavine to agree to a full max, but needing to let bamba walk to get the space. they might just cut him loose, then he can sign anywhere.

i think cleveland does need to do something with sexton that gets him elsewhere, though.

    For those Wood fans

Regarding Sexton, I just don't see any path to get him. Zero. Salary complications aside, there's no players + picks for players swap they'd be interested in from us. The only route would've involved Love if they were looking to dump him but after the season he had last year, that's off the table (this would've been a post Olympics failure trade).

hmmm...okc using its space that way is interesting. starts to limit some of our (and other teams') options. not that i expected to make a pre-draft trade, but it was a path to clearing some salary, etc.

i wonder if denver was just clearing green's salary and isn't planning to use mini mle? if not, they're thinking that they can replace him for mini mle or via immediate impact from a draft pick.

regardless, man that mpj contract could be problematic for them. they have three max guys: one who's an mvp, one coming off a torn acl (i think he'll be back to near max, though), and the other coming off a second back surgery early in his career.
