    Question @JSM

Have you seen anything with respect to Tucker opting out of his contract with Miami and taking our MLE to come play for us?

    Anybody?

    I feel your pain.

I just thought I read a tweet that intimated it, but I could be wrong.

Here's what Riley said on Monday about Tucker

Honestly I'd be shocked if he gave up $7.35m in Miami who has an easier path to the Finals. Only way he does that if another contender has the full MLE of $10.3m, but most (all?) contenders are tax payers so he would be taking $1m less if he took the tax payers MLE from anyone.

plus they have enough rights to offer him a slight raise and an extra year should he opt out. i don't think anyone is going to pony up more than that for him, so i think he stays.

According to a recent report, the Lakers have interest in Cleveland Cavaliers guard Collin Sexton.

“‘Anyway, there are so many things to consider here,’ Sam Amico of Hoops Wire reported. ‘[Darius] Garland and Sexton share an agent. Garland became the face of the Cavs. The Cavs traded for Caris LeVert, who plays Sexton’s position. And Sexton is drawing plenty of interest — with a few league sources telling me even LeBron James‘ Lakers are interested. (That’s not happening, but explaining why is another full day of Dribbles).'”

Most of the players we are supposed to target, or their exact type, we already had on the damn team at one point in the very recent past!!!!!!!!!!!

They need younger supporting guys, but if LeGM interferes again with personnel moves then it would be the same lazy, unmotivated over the hill guys who won’t run back in defense

How would the Lakers be able to get Sexton? I would imagine it has to be a sign and trade. The only things that I could imagine working would be a S&T sexton for around $20 mil/season for either a package of THT+Dunn, or potentially Westbrook for Sexton and Kevin Love.

The only thing about the Westbrook one is I have no idea why Cleveland would take this trade because Kevin Love is also a expiring contract now too…. We would likely have to give up picks to give them incentive to help us.

    Unrealistic trade proposal time....

GS has to start worrying about paying the kids. Green is getting played off the court, is with Klutch, and loves his broadcasting/podcasting (LA is the land of opportunity).

Throw in our two firsts and let's get it done.

Hartenstein would be a sneaky good pickup.

Don't know if he takes the minimum, and I think the Clips resign him.

I think he'll probably get close to the full MLE somewhere or at least $9m a year. He ranks incredibly well in most categories and is only 24.

Could see 3 year, $27m offer somewhere for him.

I believe it's only going to be the Magic, Pistons, Pacers, Spurs, and Blazers. Then you have 11 tax payers which will leave you with 14 teams who will have the full MLE to offer up ($10.2m).

Precious because Johnny Cash is dead, so there's no chance of him writing a song about your name.

What do you even do to get away from it or shorten for all those years in school. “Pre”? Nah. Take his middle name …. if not ridiculous too?

Or just grow up tough and mean and become an NBA player?
