Wonder if we'll see fan/ESPN created speculation over this one over the next couple months.

Considering what he's owed, how it flamed out there, the Suns tough financial position, and CP is Bron's close friend; I expect this one will get louder.

I don't think it'll happen and DO NOT WANT CP. But just want everyone buckled up for the ride down Rumor Lane.

i largely agree, though again i think giannis/embiid/jokic/luka are a tier above tatum. and i'd put ja on tatum's level.

i have AD at the top of that third tier you mention, probably on par with current (peak) jimmy butler and ahead of dame, pg, etc.

not sure what to say about paul. i think he got hurt again, tbh. i would have voted him mvp last year, and had he not missed time this year i might have done it again. but he looked bad against dallas. as i've said many times--i just don't think he'll make it through a full season + playoffs. and honestly, he probably can't make it 25 straight games playing at full capacity, period.

i'm not a big fan of booker or trae. i see them as the same as mitchell, tbh. all very good, and i'd take them, but not superstars.

good news for us is that AD is the youngest of the "old guard".

yeah, it was the standard old guy muscle pull. i'm no stranger to them because i'm only a little older than paul.

any of dallas, miami, or gs winning is good by me.

and tbh, my hatred for boston is just my laker fandom. i really don't dislike the team, its players, its style of play, its coach, its front office, etc.

contrast that with, say, philly, who employs morey, harden, embiid, and rivers. ick. so glad they lost.

phx was probably my next least favorite just because of all their preening and bravado (which is definitely what it was, in hindsight).

so the worst are out, imo.

dallas would obviously be the most fun story. not as fun as their 2011 story, but pretty close.

and i like gs's organization. i have big gs envy. that should be us and could be if we were owned by someone else.

I don't like the Warriors either. I lost 25 hundred, on that choke job they put up against Cleveland. Then they went out and sent half the team to recruit KD. I hope they have the highest payroll in the league for another 10 years without winning jack.

Not gonna lie, as insufferable as Pat Bev is, we could use someone like him off our bench…

Rondo, Kief, and Lance were our versions of the guy. I can't support the all bark no bite human chihuahua mosquitoe that it Pat Bev.

Boston is going to beat Miami, but I pray they run into Curry in the finals.

I love Luka, but Curry has the resume.

I do wonder if these guys realize they insult themselves when they say that. If the bubble was supposedly easier then why did you lose.

The ONLY thing I will say about the bubble is that it was custom built for Lebron and AD. Nobody else was good enough to win there but Lebron and AD have been injured all other times, but the bubble gave them both the time they needed to get healthy. When those two are 100% the league is in trouble. But that doesn't seem to happen too often.
