    Yeah, I read the report.

Jackson isn't getting hired here, IMO

Doc will probably stay in Philly.

Idk how long we wait on Snyder.

I like Snyder but I remain open to an assistant.

I never wanted Jackson. I do find it a bit odd that he can remain a lead broadcaster for ESPN despite those allegations being out there.

Apparently Stotts is now the betting favorite in Vegas. We could do a lot worse.

Hmm I like Stotts but he’s Vogel 2.0 which isn’t a bad thing.

    I wouldn’t mind Terry Stotts.

Nurse and Snyder are staying, most likely.
Pringles, Marc Jackson, Doc, Clifford, Fizdale are retreads I’d stay away from.

Ham and the other assistants are interesting and show the FO expanding their ways but not sure if they’d be the right fit for end of career Lebron. Same goes for the recently former players group too.

Stotts is like the offensive version of Vogel, on par with this team’s course (over)correcting. He was pretty good in Portland and I thought he might have been fired a bit prematurely. They finally put better players around Lillard/CJ again and didn’t give him a chance to coach that team.

Why on earth would we want Doc? If nothing else we’ve watched him flame out with talented teams multiple times. Whoever keeps pumping that rumor needs to stop.

I like Atkinson for player development but may not be our lazy stars preferred coach

    atkinson is an interesting name

did a pretty good job with a very young nets team in 18-19 but he doesn't seem like the type of coach you hire to coach veteran stars

I'd actually go with one of these promising assistant coaches. Try something different.

If we like Atkinson, just promote Handy.

    Wrong fit for this team.

    Researched Atkinson a bit.

Comes off as an off spring from Bud who came from Pop; highly respected from his fellow peers for the job he did in Brooklyn and his player development skills.

Very positive, analytically driven, gotten better as an X's and O's coach, knowing in game situations, etc.

He strikes me as a guy who would do great in Charlotte with LaMelo and the rest of the young cast there.

Unless he really impresses in the interview, I don't think he gets the gig.

Snyder-Jazz update from Fischer at B/R

Unfortunately it really doesn't sound like there's any point in waiting on him. It will only cost us other candidates.

i wanted atkinson when we hired walton, and i think we would have been better off. doesn't make sense now.

we need a former player who's never coached and a vet retread assistant to step in when we have to fire that person because our vets don't want to play defense anymore.
