These Twitter analysts are annoying, they’re the same people grilling the Danny Green, Wesley Matthew and Avery Bradley’s until they go elsewhere and have a good game. And then all of a sudden our whole organisation is shambles because we let them go.

Sam and a handful of others are pretty legit. Don't agree with them all the time but that's with anything.

quinn strikes me as a pretty standard laker hater, and by scrolling his tweets, i realize he must be a C Bags fan.

i'm generally unimpressed with most of his takes, anyway, tbh. message boards are populated with keener observers.

None of the Twitter guys really bother me. I tend to either agree or not and if i disagree i keep scrolling. I never took Quinn to be a Boston guy but could be wrong.

But back on topic, I’m hoping we see Rob really show himself to be a shrewd GM this off-season. I never really understood what happened with Matthews from him not playing much to not being resigned.

it’s tough to lay accountability on anyone with so many cooks in the kitchen but the hope is that we trip over a solid coach and put together a good team for one last real run with LeBron and AD. The smaller moves are going to matter a lot with our lack of flexibility.

It's funny he was short on last year's team. But on this year's team, he would've been one of our biggest non centers (pre-Stan and Gabriel).

I don't think that's possible for Baze (imagine a different world where he takes the GS deal and that leads to Porter coming here instead... although knowing us, it would've been Iggy instead) . Wes flashed and for awhile there his numbers were getting stronger each month. Baze never looked good. Shot. Nope. D. Nope. Hell, he even ran like he was recovering from a broken back.

I tend to agree but I also won’t be shocked if Baze plays better at his next stop. Just feels like that’s how it goes with us and guys leaving. I’d be curious to see real stats on players post Lakers. It probably evens out but seeing guys do well does sting sometimes.

bazemore will probably get a look from some chinese team. he's terrible

as for matthews, no idea why he wasn't brought back. it's almost as if the FO decided that anyone who actually played defense had to go

He couldn't shoot worth a damn, that's probably why. I do agree that his defense was still good when he was with us, which makes him better than Baze.

That's the thing though, even with his slumping shot he shot as well or better then the "shooters" we replaced him with this past year. But when his shot was off, you could still play him because he's capable of locking up top tier talent. The guys we signed might as not cross half court because their matador defense was embarrassing.

He can go scout for Russ, because if Russ wants a payday after this one it's not coming in the USA.

He had a couple games spaced apart in his inconsistent playing time, thanks a lot to Dumbkopf having to start, where he dropped 5 or so 3s with 0- to like 2 misses. But that was the problem seemed to me …. the inconsistent playing time.

Bill Dumba** Plaschke going out there trying to torch the whole franchise today. Praising Magic and Phil being involved while trying to get Pelinka fired, because yeah that makes sense. Now trying to start s*** with Phil and LeBron

Sigh. Again, too many cooks and visions of the team.

Gotta hope this is posturing to pump up Westbrook’s trade value.

It has always boggel my mind why he's employed by the LA Times to write about the Lakers. He's a Laker hater, always has been and always will, why is he covering the city's #1 team

Also can we plug up all the leaks and go more than a month without a hit piece out on the franchise.

word. plaschke's always been anti-laker. so weird for a local sports reporter. there's being impartial; ok. great. but always looking for the worst angle in all stories? where's the influence? get him fired.

I may have missed the post on it but any reason the forum has been down during the day?
