Mike Brown is a good coach.

Actually, you won't believe this, but I did a little research on him just last night.

He's the defensive coordinator for GS. He's so added a little creativity to his offensive scheme he learned from Kerr.

He also mentioned how coaching has changed and how he learned to develop relationships with players from Kerr

    The man knows his stuff.

That said, he may be a good head coach for a team like the Kings for instance, but he isn't for the Los Angeles Lakers.

We have to be more creative than this...

Not everyone is cut out for a Head Coach role. Some are great assistants and should be satisfied with that.

If we are connected to the same coaches as Sac we need to reconsider things...

I can possibly believe he's a very good assistant.

(Not an apples to apples comparison, but I love BB, Mike and this quote enough to try to force it in)

Being next to greatness doesn't mean you're going to be great. Most of Phil's assistants were really bad head coaches.

Who said he was going to be great?

He may work in a smaller market.

But to think someone has grown in 10 years being under Kerr and winning rings is...I'll be nice. Lol

Yikes! Can we pair him up with Russ somewhere (that's not here). I'm all for that. That finger pointing and being that disillusioned...I want to see that s*** show somewhere.

Hey Morey, want to come off that Tobias deal? :Rondonod:

I agree with your sentiment, but too bad the owner of the Franchise making the decisions does not.

i like the wright went out on top. but his given reason was that he lost his edge. totally fine, btw. that's a high-pressure job to have for 20 years, the last 10 of which carried big expectations with fewer resources than his competitors.

that said, i'm not sure that makes for a smooth transition to coaching the lakers.
