Figured we could use one place for all this...

    What do we know?

That's 2 1/2 months. I imagine we'd also like to have him before free agency if we start caring what players fit into what style... or we could do what we did this year. That worked well.

Don't buy the Nurse buzz at all. It's a Klutch generated move to setup more security for him in Toronto. Also makes it easier to sell the fans on whoever we settle on because they can say they went out and tried to get a top x coach. Fake hustle.

On the Juwan Howard buzz: that one is connecting with multiple different sources. I think that one is at least real. But I don't see him leaving the chance to coach his son to come here.

Still think that currently our best case scenario is Utah losing it epic fashion, firing Snyder and hopefully our front office doesn't f*** that one up by lowballing him, picking out his staff for him, or giving him a ridiculously short contract offer.

Yeah, I think that potential Juwan hire is 100% legitimate. Offering the job to him and hiring Rondo would be alright in my book. Let's see how this develops, it going to be an interesting summer for sure.

Doc, MDA, and Mike Brown are three of worst ideas I could come up with. Sadly, they're each linked to us.

I hope that during the coaching search the front office shows some growth. Interviewing guys that aren’t worst than Vogel or guys that show we are thinking outside the box.

No BS names like Doc or Pringles or Mr Potato Head… or the Laker retreads like Byron, Luke, Fisher, etc.

The Juwan/Rondo shows something interesting at least

I have no clue who we will go with.

the Nick Nurse stuff is interesting even though it’s unlikely. I find the timing interesting. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if the front office leaked it just to try and get some positive buzz going and make fans think they’ve actually got a plan. This way when we end up with someone else they can say they tried to talk to everyone.

right now I just don’t want Fiz or Doc.

And so how does retaining Frank’s entire coaching staff play into this? Can’t be foisting entire staffs onto a respected and qualified head coach. Just because Luke hired some duds doesn’t mean real coaches will.

We can only hope they’ve learned their lesson about that. I doubt it but that’s all we can hope.

    Nick Nurse is a homerun.

    Snyder is a good replacement.

Juwan is a name I think they would entertain.

Also, think Handy may be an option.

    Doc is a absolute No.

snyder and howard are the only realistic options i'd say. snyder because he'd be the best available name and howard because of his connection with lebron. i know snyder is still technically under contract with the jazz but that team is headed for a blowup

i can't see nurse leaving toronto while still under contract and i can't see the lakers trading for him anyways

I don’t think we’re necessarily retaining Frank’s staff. We’re just keeping them on board in the meantime while the coaching search is underway so that we have some resources in the training facility to help with player development.

now that Utah knows we want Snyder what are the odds of them firing him even if they have a first round exit?

if that happens, certainly they'll try to get something out of the Lakers in exchange for him

    First, the early candidates

You bunch of incompetent dumb f***s!!!

How you can be trying to woo someone and have such a blindside. It's like they don't even know they're over their head and THAT'S the scary part. I fear we're going to be in this swamp of s*** until Jeanie sells and that person fires everyone.

That's encouraging. Like I thought, fluff on our parts...Klutch's part or both.

Bingo! That's why I never thought he'd be anything other than a name on the list.

In summary, f*** you Rob, Rambii, and Jeanie. You all deserve each other. But we deserve better.
