All the DeRozan talk that keeps coming up now is just Lakers hate. There are obvious reasons why it didn’t happen and wasn’t going to happen. Of all the fixable mistakes they made (not trading Schroder and THT for Lowry, not getting anything for Schroder period, trading value contracts for Westbrook, not trading Trez and Kuz for Hield) this one wasn’t even in the ballpark.
lowry trade is no mistake, not like Mia is a legit contenders with him and now owe him 20m/yr for multiple yrs and hes missed a good chunk of the season thus far
I'm not sure what's more remarkable: 1) how poorly Magic understands the salary cap considering he ran our team. 2) that he keeps s***ting on this front office/team and Jeanie keeps welcoming him back with open arms.
I’m so sick of hearing from him. He was the reason I fell in love with the game when I was a kid, but since he’s retired, he’s done nothing but hurt the Lakers Franchise.

Last I checked Miami is number one in the east. Sure they owe him 20 plus a year but we are stuck with a $47 million contract next year instead and a bunch of vet min players. Hopefully we can turn Russ’s expiring into some good players, we’ll see.
