There is no one I hate more in the entire NBA And basically every dead ball the final 2:55 of the 4th. He was chirping. Seeing him get the best of us hurts. Ariza isn't doing s***, why not have him check in and take this clown out?
clowned by Pat Bev and Towns while getting run out of the gym. Can’t set the bar low enough for this team.
So yeah we aren’t making the playoffs, this is one of the teams we’d have to play, or the Clippers, so yeah, play-in is where our season ends.
really hoping they don't make the play-in at all especially if that means getting embarrassed by the clippers like always
I don’t even have any WMC anymore. I’ve long passed the point of getting upset about these performances. I’ve come to accept and find amusement in the dumpster fire that we are. Pour more gasoline on the dumpster fire as far as I’m concerned. More blowout losses, more Westbrook airballs, more of Lebron getting exposed for stat padding, more getting punked and trashed talked by scrubs. Please miss the play in. All good with me. This team deserves to be clowned on and called out for our various failures at every level. Hopefully it brings more public pressure for the organization to reflect and do better. I don’t want there to be any outs for the front office to try to sugarcoat this abysmal season.
With yet another we-were-never-in-it 20 point loss to MIN, the Lakers are 29-40, for a winning percentage of .420 ...Which makes perfect sense: at this point you have to be HIGH to actually root for this team.
The thing about this season I don't understand is how in the hell have we not dropped out of the Top 10? How is it possible there are 5 teams worse than us (yes, we are 9th so technically there are 6)? We are getting obliterated every night. We aren't just losing by 12 or 13. We are consistently getting massacred. I guess our early soft schedule and having AD was enough to give us the wins needed to remain above the tanking teams?
amazing how they've been able to turn dedicated superfans into indifferent non participants truly an astounding feat for the ages I'm unable to muster any care whatsoever. I only come here for the community and to shat on LeWhatever
Is this the most disappointing season in recent memory? I can’t honestly think of one, even when we had the kids you could hope for development and a bad pick. This season has been abysmal.
yeah, that hurt last year, too. AD's healthy and there's a good chance we repeat. had we not made the russ trade, i'd still believe we could take out a curry-less gs or paul-less suns and then run the rest of the west, too. titles are ripe for the taking these days, no real dominant teams. and we make the russ trade. it's 2012. we've been saying it all year. it was obvious in the preseason.
This is the sorriest sacks of chumps ever to wear a Laker uniform. AD coming back healthy will do exactly zero.
It feels a little like 2012, but this is worse if you take away Kobe's injury. At least in 2012 we were turning it around and had a winning record. I might be wrong, but I think we had like the second best record in the West after the All-star break. If you count Kobe's career ending injury (Kobe was never the same), then it's on par with 2012 in terms of it's demoralizing nature. But that 2012 team after the all-star break and before Kobe's injury would have annihilated this team.
well, it was similar in that kobe was dragging everyone through everything, as lebron is (at least offensively) now. but kobe was younger and, as it turns out, at the very end of his prime. and the season ain't over yet. we could trot AD back out there and have him tear an achilles or something, making this 2012 on steroids!
Tough not to be a prisoner of the moment, but this season feels worse than 2012 to me at least as far as what I'm seeing on the court. Kobe carried that team, but I feel like the effort from other guys was usually there despite the injury and fit issues with the team.
