Buyouts don't want to join sub 50 sh%tty teams like the Lakers that probably won't even make the playoffs. So that's probably the best we could get.

On a serious note, I have always liked DJ Augustin and thought he could’ve been a good fit for us in the past. Also, I have a vague recollection of DJ being in the locker room for either our 2009 or 2010 championships. Like as a young player, he was doing some segment with NBA TV or some other channel, and he ended up interviewing some of our guys after the championship. Can anyone corroborate this? I can’t find any info about it at this point, but I could’ve sworn it happened. Idk if I Mandela effected myself though lol. Would be pretty neat if it ended up being true.
Could be a nice addition if we lure him to stay for next season. He's a reliable point guard. I think he is also betting on that, though living for some time in LA and play with Lebron is always something anyone wants to add to the resume
Not sure if you’re joking, but Nunn is Klutch. I highly doubt that this signing caught them off guard or that they’d even be upset about it. The whole reason we signed DJ is likely because the writing is on the wall that Nunn won’t be able to play this season.
i'm confused--are you thinking that dj will play at the expense of nunn? because i doubt that. he's filler for nunn, who, as someone else said, is probably shut down anyway. and if nunn can and wants to go, i bet he gets the nod over dj.
