WMC 24-25: Seasonal Highs And Lows!

Lebron and these guys thought the process did not matter. All of this started with the 0-6 preseason, they looked horrible and they said it was no big deal. They kept making many excuses for the 20+ point losses at the start of the year as well. They're deceived themselves all year and its too late now

 

Another reason to cut ties with LePrincess. I don’t want to hear anymore pathetic excuses of why it’s okay to represent the Laker Brand in this manner.
It’s not ALL on him, but a massive piece of the roster construction pie is.

Instead of being concerned about our fading playoff chances he's out there doing repair work on his image and perception, this guy man....

When the history of the NBA is written, this year's team will be one of the all-time Prima Dona teams.

I really hate this effing team. I wrote the same thing here around 2 1/2 months ago. The D sucks, they stand around on offense, they don't know how to move the ball, they get killed on the offensive boards, they turn the ball over like mad, they can't shoot 3s consistently, they are bad at the FT line, when they fall behind and rally to take a lead late, we can count on them to blow the game.They don't play like a TEAM. They're over-paid, old, gutless wonders.

I certainly like some individuals and the way they play the game, but this is a TEAM game.

Will they play a thrilling game against a good team and get our hopes up that they MIGHT make the play-in? Yes.
Will they then dash those hopes by having another gutless performance like the one against NO (at home no less!) and DEN? Book it. They will.

Man, I hate this team. It was rotten from the word go, as someone who pointed out how bad they were in the preseason. Then, empty, clueless, desperate lines to the media: "We need some time. We'll get there." "We could suddenly win 10 straight." (AD) LeBron was "laughing" about the talk about them being too old. But they are too old. They don't play D. They don't really care. What's not to despise about these guys?

Sorry about the RANT, but I have to finish with this: LeBron James is one of the top 5 players ever. Easy. But he's also a major Prima Dona, who, until this year, has been able to put his money where his mouth is. And this rot comes from the top. I can't get away from thinking the hellacious energy the team brought into Crypto against NO started with him.

The truth about the unbelievably horrific performance from this team, with this roster, will one day come out. I suspect LeBron has been toxic. I don't know what to think about Russ, who, seems to have an NBA version of "the yips" this year. I've always known and predicted that that incredibly talented yet Soft and Delicate Flower, AD would get injured over and over and over.

Teams like this deserve to...to quote from an old SCTV bit, "get blowed up real good."

 

Well that was ugly. Not really much else to say right now.

I said a couple of months ago we were a bad basketball team and there wasn’t a single team in the league I felt confident we would beat and that’s held true.

The front office definitely has its work cut out for them trying to fix this.

 

I still can’t think of a trade that sunk a team like this in any sport.
