It probably gets settled, and it’s definitely been a little overblown (though that’s on lebron for going around like a passive aggressive whiny little baby), but I don’t see how this team gets turned into a title contender “quietly”. If we aren’t able to shape our roster to LeBron’s liking, and apparently don’t trade away every draft pick we have from 2027-2050 to do so, this will be anything but quiet.

You know what... screw LeBron. No word comes out of his mouth without forethought. He planned all of it. So... screw him.

Get of my team, you douche.

It would be stupid to mortgage our future in the summer for 1y of LeBron. Hope Pelinka has the balls and Jeannie backup to manage this as it should

wait. quinn trying to be the voice of reason after gleefully throwing gas on the fire himself? shut up, loser. i guess i'm glad you said "we" because your commentary was among the stupidest.

i think (and maybe it's just hope) that enough of our upper admin (jeanie and rambii) still remember what happened when we sold all parts of the future on a last ditch effort to contend in someone's old age. to me, lebron is closer to post-achilles kobe than the press has figured out. opposing coaches have figured it out, though, and i bet our ownership group has, too.

obviously won't happen, but it's not as nonsensical as some might believe. only issue is that utah probably feels like they have more control over the mitchell situation than they probably do. getting jaylen brown now is likely better than what they'll end up getting when he moves.

though maybe not; historically, their management has been pretty shrewd.

Thankfully, they already told Princess that she wouldn’t get her wish of Wall. This was the best news of the season and actually is great news moving forward for us fans who are done with the LeGM placating.

Since this is very fair for all parties involved, it probably won’t happen- only for “basketball reasons.”

If attitudes and tensions are as bad as the media says they are with the three main guys involved, seems like a really good deal to keep all three teams in some form of contention.

In the summer we have more picks to use

From what I get from the insiders, Lebron's pressure didn't work as they planned because nobody stand on their side and they are doing damage control now. Absolutely love it, keep going Rob!

lol, so far, we've given up a bunch of late 1sts that our scouting dept has already basically recovered by getting reaves.

the mistake would be leveraging further. any future picks we trade will be post-AD's utility.

the AD mortgage is already paid and unlikely to hurt in any way ever.

We won the AD deal by a mile and the Pelicans are another example of how tough it is to build a contender based on draft picks and young guys.

    No.

Trade AD, trade LBJ, fire Vogel, get rid of WB, blow it up, etc.

    I can't even keep up.

they all must be traded for better, smarter, younger, healthier options. we must also attach future picks to get it done so that we can build through the draft. later. and also sign superstar free agents because that's common. this will make for a much more enjoyable experience on our path to contention in 2045. in 2045, we'll be the best team ever.

In all fairness, we don't have this year's pick which could conceivably be a lottery pick. So that could hurt. :D
