i'm having trouble remembering, but i think it was more like west was kind of beating around the bush about coming on as an advisor, and we didn't take the bait. definitely not like him to be "begging" to do anything. if anything, he might have signaled that he was open to the lakers begging, and they demurred.
Yes that was it if the rumors were true. Everyone’s just back to piling on again just like West did himself during the competition to sign Snake.
i believe jerry expressed his desire to return to the organization but "begging" to come back? that sounds like a bit much and i really don't blame jeanie for telling him no based on how he tried to get between her and phil
Jeanie has a tough job, running a high profile franchise like the Lakers, with all the LA drama can't be easy. She has tolerated a lot and has to sift through everything everyone says to sort out personal agenda's from what is good for the franchise. She needs to be presented with a medal and have a statue put up of her. She was in the impossible position of filling the shoes of one of the most popular owners in history, especially with it being her dad. We are fortunate to have this compassionate, intelligent wonderful woman running the show for us.
right. we're in "if you love something set it free" territory. can't believe we did stuff like let caruso walk while the clippers and warriors just buy everything in sight at all times.
Laker fans on Twitter have nothing meaningful to talk about the on-court play have turned to brining upher old tweets from 2009. Getting a lot of heat right now.
I’m generally against digging up old tweets to cancel a person… But I just started looking into it, and holy crap some of these tweets are hilariously embarrassing! Nothing too egregious from what I’ve seen so far, but just cringeworthy public thirsting over NBA players.
Unfortunately not… directly linked posts from her officially verified Twitter. Tweets that are still currently up and accessible to anyone.
Horndog. This is only 13 years ago. this is the face of the greatest franchise in the history of sports? Where’s Linda when you need her?
