Anyone except Slick, who laughably also seems to be insinuating Caruso is out for some injury prone reason after getting cheap shot knocked out of the air from up near the rim.

He would have been playing 28-30 or more here. More playable for variety of reasons not all THT's fault .... than THT. Same as the 28 minutes in Chicago on a deeper roster arguably. And yes of course 35M is a lot of coin. But you keep downplaying the worth of the player he is and value in LeBron's window here.

He was here last season wasn't he? He wouldn't fix anything this season either. The health and availability of James and Davis, was and still is, the determining factor of all things Lakers. So a minor upgrade today isn't worth 35 million dollars IMO. We already found the next Caruso in Austin.

I would give just about anything to have Caruso back and am certain we'd be better off if he was here. Dr. Buss made clear we could count on him to pony up if it meant getting us closer to the next ring. Our current owner has made clear we shouldn't count on her to do the same. Sucks, because I know we all lover her, but it's where we are.

Continues to be a BS take from you as to his value. Of course he couldn't overcome the big 2 being hurt last year, Captain Obvious.

I read one article this morning (but I already forget where) that targeted Harden as the problem on the Nets. It said none of his teammates liked him and he was doing expected Harden stuff behind the scenes (staying fat, going to Vegas on team time, rolling his eyes when plays were called for Durant in crunch time, etc.)

some of that was in this story, too. But my issue is that nobody has seized on the common denominator. Harden is maybe the most selfish player I’ve ever seen. But the media is like: assists!

people tout Houston almost knocking off gs and act like that wasn’t all Chris Paul. Who made the finals without harden two years later.

    let’s tell true stories.

That's the article above .... from Durant's point of view anyway. Maybe you saw another.

I think the point is that the article fails to go hard at harden, sort of both-sides-ing it.

harden’s now forced three bad trades in his career that benefitted him. Not a peep about the pattern.

If he gets a ring, we’ll be peppered with “see, he was right” stories even if it’s clearly on embiid’s back.

Pffft 4 highest payroll in the League? We could be Golden State, the highest payroll in the NBA, and still ain't winning Jack this year either. The Warriors won't beat the Lakers in a 7 game series, with our current roster.

We'd have definitely been been better in the role players / good two way players with good size department than the trash we had to play this year alongside Russ .... would we not? By the way Clippers spent exactly like that and so do the Warriors and every other "hopefully elite" team truthfully "all in".

It wouldn't be a minor upgrade. Having him available to take THT's minutes wouldn't make us a title contender, but we would be 6-7 games better, and that would put us firmly in the playoff picture. I mean, the amount an elite defender would help, not to mention all the little winning plays he makes would be invaluable to not only our quality, but team morale. Our team's chemistry is toxic. You can blame injuries, but even with injuries, we still had more talent on paper than a lot of the teams we lost to.

Also, you keep talking about 35 million, we lose a lot of money (not 35 million, but a lot) if we miss the playoffs.

I'll say it like this then...The Lakers as constructed, would beat both the Clippers and Warriors in a 7 game series. IF Lebron and AD are healthy. I believe that without a doubt. I would like to have Caruso, but I don't think he is critical, can't do it without him, critical NO.

Man...we are NOT missing the playoffs. I'm not buying the narrative that we are so terrible, that we aren't even making the playoffs. Negative

We are in 9th place, 2 games in front of Portland who we just lost to. Yeah we could actually miss the playoffs. We’ve lost 7 of the last 9 games.

Portland just beat the Bucks too. I'm aware of all that, and if AD and James play in these last 26 games...I stand by everything I posted.
