He’s gone for sure, unless Rob can first pull that rabbit out of his hat.

I’d cut Bazemore and try out Evans on a 10 day contract while we wait for the rest of the buyout market to emerge.

glad to hear tyreke is able to at least give it a try. seems like he's had a real struggle with substance use in ways that sports fans take too lightly.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Rob go after Reddish again this summer.

Apparently, he had a deal but talks fell apart according to Windhorst because the other two teams involved in the transaction couldn't agree on draft compensation.

I think he makes a play for him again this summer.

When we had the title team in 19/20, he was rumored to have gone after Schroder during the trade deadline.

He wasn't successful acquiring him @ that time. When we would trade for him again, he did, and it was the first trade that went down that off-season.

That's my logic - he's very aggressive in going after what he wants.

    We shall see, though.

    LeGM is pretty persuasive.
Let’s see if Rob has learned his lesson.

    The question I pose again:
Is Jeanie really going to pay extra for these buyout guys in salary and tax money?

I was surprised when it first came out that we were going to be aggressive for Dragic.

Now that it’s been brought up, I would love to have him (although my expectations for another 35+ year old player would be tempered). But I didn’t think he fit our biggest needs, and I didn’t think it was realistic that we would appeal to him.

Now I’m starting to wonder if that’s the strategy… publicly make it seem like Dragic is your number one target, knowing he’s likely going to sign elsewhere. That way when we do strike out on him, ownership can say “Well we couldn’t get the guy we wanted, so we’ll stick with our current roster”.
