I would love to know the stats on how many games those free throws cost them. I'm gonna guess 12 games at the very least.

Shambles. Given the age of the roster, chances are we get worse before we get better.

    2020 season 34.9% from 3
    2020 playoffs 35.4% from 3
    2022 season 35% from 3.

The KCP, Kuzma, AC crew may not be snipers but they provided above average defense and hit an adequate amount of 3s in a timely manner for team to succeed.

Danny Green was awful and bricked a lot of 3s but he provided adequate defense and dirty work. (I was ok with trading him for Schroder at that time)

Lebron was too enamored with the big names and didn't truly appreciate the role players who complimented him and AD well for the team to succeed.

Its not easy to play well next to Lebron but those guys did and this franchise cast them away.

As early as the preseason, I’ll bet, Lebron realized the Russ experiment was a failure. PlanB was to completely check out on all facets of the game other than putting up gaudy numbers. Then the apathy dominoes started to fall, to AD, and then to the rest of the team.

Still not convinced as far as rest of team after big 3 salaries that out sized, out talented, too old and lack of continuity for most of rest of roster = apathy.

not sure why it can't be both. the roster was bad, and the stars bailed early.

Not sure why it isn’t obvious most games the rest of the roster, especially with ALL the availability issues is outmatched for the reasons above rather than they checked out too. They all want to play.

yeah, can't say that in the games i've watched that i've noticed major effort issues for role players not named deandre jordan.

Yeah you guys are right. Most of the role players have been playing hard. We’re just so top heavy that when our stars sandbag it casts such a large shadow

Our terrible roster construction gets amplified more each game. The tragedy is that was also obvious and avoidable.

AD's fts definitely cost us the last two games.

Its like we sit in a boat with a hole. Whenever you put your fingers on a hole, another one pops up.

We need Russ to play well...when he does, somebody else will tank...and if that guy plays well too, somebody else will tank...and if everyone plays well, someone gets injured...

I don't even know what to say right now lol. Its just bizzare on too many levels.

i think the discontinuity that the roster turnover and then subsequent injuries caused is actually a little underplayed here. we're 2/3 of the way through the season, and we have no idea who's going to be playing one night to the next. we've started like a zillion different lineups, and only some of that is on the coaching staff. a big part of that is just not having guys available at the same time. so even on the rare occasion that all our guys are healthy, they're totally unfamiliar with each other.

the portland game sucked because they were in the same boat with less talent, but i'm not sure why the milwaukee and gs teams have people ready to burn everything down. honestly, gs is probably asking themselves why they didn't kill us like milwaukee did.

it's crazy to me how AD just stopped remembering how to make FTs after the bubble

his FG% has gone down in every season for the last 4-5 seasons, but his FT struggles are just odd. seems like hasn't been the same mentally since the bubble

his overall downward trend in shooting is weird. i imagine it stops sometime? but russ used to be a great ft shooter, too, and now isn't. so maybe it's in the water here.

We could have been sellers at the deadline and retooled our roster for the future with picks, young talent, expiring K's, and solid vets. It couldn't be any worse that what we are seeing now.

We have 5 future HOF'ers on this roster if you count Dwight Howard and Carmelo Anthony, and we literally aren't going anywhere. There's really no excuse.

I'm glad I'm not emotionally invested in this season. I really haven't been since Lebron got here. I find the style of ball mostly unwatchable, and the baggage that comes with the Kang is pretty much unbearable. We got a championship out of it. I'm ok moving on, but that's not how that's going to play out most likely.

I foresee his final years being perception changing in the eyes of many who have worshipped the ground he walks on. They will begin to see what others have seen his entire career. We'll see how it plays out.

    I think it gets ugly.

    Get’s Ugly?
We have been at “ugly” since game one of the Russ experiment.
I just hope our FO parts ways with LeGM after next season. If they try to just cash in on the Bron/Bronny Family Basketball Tour, I won’t be watching.
