Vogel might not be here much longer IMO, so that dust up won't be held against him. I really do believe that opting out and resigning, was the game plan all along. We have nothing to lose. AD and Lebron will be back next season, if they can't win with Russ, their impact on choosing their teammates moving forward gets muted. Players leave some money on the table, in order to get what they want all the time.

The problem here, is Frank is either going to have to save face, by being forced to play Russ due to "injury "(Lebron?) and hope it works. Or get canned because Westbrook is still here, and how he deals with it didn't end up in wins. The media is savage, now that the trade deadline is up, Frank is about to be scrutinized on every single move he makes. We are about to be on National TV a whole lot. Why can't this guy win with that kind of talent? That's going to be the subject.

I think it might go differently, than a lot of folks expect it to.

That’s the ticket …. Russ is cool and Vogel sucks.

They both have sucked: Russ way more then Vogel IMO.
That being said the Buss family is too cheap to fire Vogel as I think they know the season is lost. What the point of getting rid of Vogel and having to pay someone else more money to head the Titanic after hitting the iceberg?

Because they aren't hiring any outsider to come in and coach.

I bet you’re wrong P-10 and they fire him shortly.

It's the money, always the money, dumping a coach is easier than dumping a high paid player. It's not like Vogel is Phill Jackson or something. Russ can be packaged at a lower contract. It doesn't look like the two main guys, are out here speaking up for Frank anyway.

If you really think the season is lost anyway, what is the point of keeping Vogel? All three players are under contract next season. The caveat being that Westbrook's contract could be significantly lower.

I just want Handy for the interim and not Fiz, LeBron’s guy. I have a hunch he’s tough enough and the right guy then to deal with all the s*** for any chance we have this year. Slick and none.

The AllStar draft was pretty funny.

Bron did not even pick Harden. "James Harden, then, goes to LeBron James".

Anyway, for such a bad GM, Bron drafts these all-stars really well. I mean: Steph/DeMar/Bron/Giannis/Jokic with Luka off the bench is just sick. And then you still have CP3 to run the show off the bench. Too bad these teams don't play serious ball, because it would be really nice to see some real basketball here.

I’ve been saying Bron’s been padding his stats for awhile in game chat and getting heat about it.

He will never pass Michael Jordan. He hasn't passed Kobe Bryant in my eyes.

He'll have some of the best stats of all time including turnovers, but he'll never be the GOAT as I define it.

Him declaring himself as the GOAT was such douchebaggery it was hilarious. He's made the team unwatchable during his tenure.

Waive Lebron. Stretch his contract. He's clearly the issue here.

If you get a chance watch back the fourth quarter and zero in on Lebron. It says a lot.

Hater theory : Lebron is so full of himself/vicious to the point he brought Westbrook to LA to be the scapegoat so the medias won't talk much about Bron decline as a player.

All the medias will talk about is his unmatched longetivity while he puts up big numbers and after he broke Kareem record .

As Pete said on the pod yesterday, coasting in "easy wins" is part of a 82 game season. The problem is we're not good enough to coast against anyone.

2 bad 4th quarters in a row for Lebron. The missed FT sucked but expected that as he did not look good at all the last 2 games in the 4th.
It's too bad as the Lakers could have won both with a typical Lebron 4th

Well that was a 4th quarter to forget.

    1-10 FG and 3 TO
