Put down the shovel and stop trying to sell us your s*** Rob.

Nunn might as well shut it down this season. If he can play by end of March it will take him weeks to get into game shape and acclimation. By that point we've already been kicked out of the play in or the 1st round.

You know what also helped in our title run Rob? Pieces that fit and made sense. We have approximately 83,072 guards on this team. Our title team had a good mix of wings and defensive guards, along with a good balance of youth and veterans. Also, it helped that we had a rim running starting center, instead of a corpse rotting at the end of the bench.

Agreed. Lebron and AD wanted Russ and told Rob to get him. Rob got him the only way he could. He then filled in the roster with league minimum guys and one guy who looked promising that suffered a fatal bone bruise and died before suiting up. Jeanie could have spent a little bit more and kept at least one defensive player.

MAYBE Rob could have gotten a couple different players with his minimum contracts, but I can't think of anyone who he could have swapped out that would have fixed this mess.

    Pelinka isn't stupid.

Don't believe any of that rhetoric.

He knows the season is done.

He'll be ultra-aggressive this summer to get rid of the WB contract and improve the team.

Will he be successful? That's another story.

I heard Rob on Mason and Ireland and it’s extremely hard to listen to him because he’s full of poop. Everything he said was so obviously insincere that it was absolutely annoying.

But I agree with LVBD that he’ll go hard at it this summer. There weren’t any moves to make. But he is going to need to show that he is something other than just a Klutch shill. He needs to step up because this season was a fail and he’s near the top of the chain there in the FO. He’ll get some leeway because the Westbrook idea was Lebron’s but he overpaid to get him and he screwed up the rest of the roster except for Monk and Melo.

Nunn wasn’t his screw up or fault to be fair.

Rob has that fake, politically correct delivery about him. Kisses everyone's a** to be apart of the goodness of things. Those guys always bother me, they are everywhere.

Wh..what is happening? This front office has zero creativity, just sign anyone and everyone who has ever been a Laker. Hell no I don’t want Dennis back.

    what, did he get cut?

i'd take him on a minimum as a backup pg. hell, he can take russ's starting spot!

i wouldn't have traded nunn for him, though. if nunn ever comes back healthy, he's equally useful and less of a pain in the a**.

again, just quite happy we didn't do anything at the deadline. this season is lost, and we need to be thinking about next year already.

I think the Dennis thing is total BS and just a click getter.

I don't know, I think it has legs. Nunn is out until late March so effectively all season because he won't be in shape to come back. We need someone for backup - we have all year. I can't stand the Dumkopf but as a buyout I'm ok with it.

What was this trade again? Was Schroder just filler on the deal?

Well, social media has created an entire society of people delivering "public" statements. So I would expect there to be a lot of politically correct, a** kissers roaming around, never actually saying what they think and bottling it in.

Oh, I agree. What I'm saying is the sheer amount of them has risen precipitously as a result of factors that encourage even average folks to b.s. about even the most menial aspects of their lives.

Rob is an @$$hat. But I’m glad he didn’t do something even stupider than ever at the trade deadline.

Dave McMenamin was on NBA Today and said that it's not true that Rob met with Bron and AD before the deadline or that they were on the same page about not making a move.

    Good job Rob.
