^ That's an excellent plan and I hope the FO can see it. Please no more 45-year old veterans and former stars who are delusional and can't adapt to a team game. Get hungry young guys, kill it in the training camp and come back with a vengeance. Bron + AD should ALWAYS be enough to make the team a contender. But the #1 thing is always chemistry/team spirit. And this team with Russ and a bunch of old mercenaries just doesn't have it.
I blame this year mostly on LeGM. But damn, it's not easy to make a team this bad when you have Lebron playing at MVP level and AD in his prime.
lebron has good hollinger stats but isn’t playing mvp ball, and AD has just started looking right lately. still, though, the Russ fit was just worse than anyone imagined.
i didn't think it would be this bad either but i knew it was going to be bad from the jump, never a good fit for a ball dominant player that cant shoot from outside to be paired with 2 stars who are in equal fitting with a offensive shceme lacking coach in Vogel
And … nothing. Radio silence. Well at least we didn’t do some catastrophic panic trade. Still something small would have been nice. Ah well. Maybe next season.
Rob should be the one to lose his job, our team has gotten increasingly worse every window since he decided to blow up half the 2020 title roster. this is the mark of a bad GM.
It works both ways. If he somehow turns this mess around in the off season it will work the other way again.
Deadline fail. Couldn't even dump our trash to help clear a buyout spot. If he does end up cutting anyone to get to a buyout target, he'll probably offer the buyout guy a 10 day contract to save money.
LOL … from not Feb >>> March >>> late March for Nunn now and not a single report in Laker Nation as to how it even f****** happened or which f****** bone?
