    I agree Russ isn’t our only problem but he’s a big one. As far as a borderline ridiculous goes, you think another team is going to pay Russ 47 million if he opts out this summer? Please name that team because IMO they don’t exist. You’ve said all year that we shopped Kuz, KCP etc. last year and couldn’t get a team to bite. The same thing is happening with Russ right now but NOBODY wants him without assets attached. If we don’t end up trading him it’s because we couldn’t find a team that wants him not because he’s some great asset or didn’t asked to be traded.

    I'd rather us just play the kid and see what happens. Playing Avery doesn't work, If we saw enough in him to give him a decent contract, then we should let him play. I agree... If we are going to trade him and a 1st rd pick, it might as well be for more than another project, two teams have given up on already.

    I don't care about Westbrook's money. It's irrelevant to me what someone else is willing to pay him. I don't like giving up assets for nothing in return period. I don't think the guy ever intended on opting in to that 47 million when the trade was made either. Now the problem is, he can opt up and do whatever he wants, and we get nothing out of it. Or trade him for another guy that brings nothing on the court and most definitely wants every penny of the 47 million he will be owed next season. And to think that we should give up a 1st rd pick for that, to do what exactly? Pacify a coach that my two best players don't want around anyway? AD and Lebron aren't going anywhere, Rob and Kurt aren't either. Might as well suck it up and play it out IMO.

    It doesn’t matter whether you care about what Westbrook is paid, the salary cap cares. You didn’t answer my question of what team is going to pay Russ 47 million next year. Also what did you think Russ was going to do if he never intended to opt in when the trade was made?
