lol, love your optimism. frank's gone; has been since about game 20, imo. just a matter of when. still no confidence replacing him will help.

warming up to the idea of John Wall, at least he shot 37% from 3 a couple of seasons ago and might be convinced to come off the bench and run the 2nd unit.

i don't see the point of trading for wall when he has the same contract as westbrook. wall isn't going to get this team to become a title contender

just stand pat and start looking at ways to dump russ in the offseason

    I'm a complete homer bro
I'm an unabashed homer bro..I like to trash talk, but I'm still going down with the ship regardless. Iceberg dead ahead now though!!!

Russ should have called Vogel out a while ago IMO. Like him or not, they guy was brought in to fill a role, that role has never been truly developed by Vogel IMO. Frank is totally afraid, or powerless more likely, to do anything with Lebron. Lebron has complicated matters by being in street clothes for long stretches' of this season. To me the dilemma was going to come to a head eventually anyway. Lebron dominates the ball, this is who he is. He said that he was tired of being the only playmaker on this team and needed some help in that regards. Yeah, he said that last season too, the problem is, when he's on the court he only knows how to be Lebron. So maybe if these guys would have played together all season, this issue would have been addressed and worked out by now. Unfortunately that wasn't the case, now Russ is out in the open with his dislike of how Frank runs this offense, which has also put him at odds with Lebron. Because we all know our offense is whatever Lebron wants to do, LOL. What happens next depends on Lebron...he either commits to giving up the rock and playing off the ball, or Russ has to go, because he's basically declared that Vogel doesn't know what the hell he's doing. Agh the drama is thick in Hollywood...

BTW..your idea of a Randle for Russ swap...excellent, best one I've seen in all this speculation about trades. That would solve a lot of issues, but I don't know if Frank will be the one reaping the benefits by the playoffs. He's been pretty mediocre on the bench during games for two seasons in a row now. Of course, James and Davis haven't carried their expected load either, the coach suffers the consequences regardless.

Nobody thought the Lakers would be in a play in tournament position let's be real. s*** happens. It's not working. So change it up. Trading for Wall can't make it any worse. Wall+Gordon for Russ THT Nunn.

Meh..Wall is about done, might as well start Talen at the point over Wall, and he most definitely wants all of his 47 million next season.

That isn't going to make us much better this season and we'll be in a worse position going into next season. Go for the big, forget about these guards. Bring on Randle!!!

I entertained the idea of THT Nunn for Gordon but that was to work with Westbrook. I think Gordon AND Wall just makes us old and older with two monster contracts and sinks us even further plus you have to give up that first to do it.

yeah, if russ can't accept a diminished role, it can't work, period. his comments last night indicate he's nowhere close to that realization.

Agreed. He basically said f' it in his press conference. All the comments from last night made it clear that everyone has moved from denial to acceptance and that this whole experiment needs to end.

I'm curious to see who gets the public show of support from Lebron and AD moving forward. Frank or Russ.
He has to accept a diminished role in order to play with Lebron. Lebron is the point guard on this team, and has been on every team he's ever been on. Lebron is a quandary, he's getting older and starting to miss a lot of games. Yet when he does play, his playing level hasn't fallen off much. Ergo...in his mind nothing needs to be adjusted. Tough spot for a coach or GM to be in. You watch him hoop and say, all we need is one more shooter, then when he sits, it's eventually we have to bring in someone that can run the team without Lebron. Magic answer? Kyrie Irving LOL

Yep, his lack of humbleness is striking.

He even mentioned that stats show he should be in the closing lineup. Seriously? What stats? 4-22 FG in the last 2 games? 3/11 in that same game? -16 in that game? All the advanced stats who show he's one of the worst in the league in pretty much any efficiency category? Or defense stats? Or that our best rotations are without him? Or literally anyone who watches 5min of a game?

    He's lunatic. F him
