Even so, Malone @ 37 was nowhere near as athletic as Lebron is today though he did have amazing averages for a 37 year old:

    Mailman:
    23.2pts 8.3reb 4.5asst 1.1stl 0.8blk .498FG% (takes no 3s)

    LBJ:
    29.1pts 7.8reb 6.4asst 1.6stl 1.1blk .523FG% (takes 8 treys per game)

Lebron is also drawing the D out to the perimeter which Karl didn't do.

I am not sure if we'll see that kind of longevity any time soon.

Who needs athleticism when you're allowed to scissor kick your legs out anytime you get into the paint? Just a douchebag way to play and I'm glad that guy never won a title

Oh what about the helicopter blade elbows when he was clearing out space?

I'm not. Lakers would have had 18 titles right now and Kobe would have had 6. Shaq would have had 5. Lakers losing in 2004 blew a**.

word. i hated malone so much, but we would have won that title if he were healthy and it sticks in my craw that the narrative is that detroit just beat us fair and square.

anyway, yes, lebron's longevity exceeds malone's and even kareem's. it's crazy.

though i think we're seeing this year that he's no longer the ideal #1 if the title is your aspiration.

the coaching staff has to sit 1/3 of our payroll if they want to be competitive in games thanks to your lobbying.

also very telling that even lebron has given up on the season, which would explain why he started chasing stats a month ago.

That's the real killer here. Literally a third of the roster is unplayable.

If this whole Russ cluster doesn’t convince Bron he’s not a good GM, nothing will. We are in this mess because of his wants.

Most of these superstars end up being horrible "GMs". I mean, it's unbelievable how they don't see the big picture.
