This franchise of ownership, front office and down to the players are resting on their laurels and have provided nothing laudable of substance. They've become the laughable New York Yankees and Dallas Cowboys. Living off the glory from the franchise history but simply not delivering anything noteworthy and substantial right now. This team is unwatchable and such a bore. They way they lose is so unacceptable. Vogel is right up there with Mike Brown as coaches who turned a talented roster to junk.
its funny how the clippers have owned the lakers for the last decade or so in the regular season and the lakers still managed to win a title before the clippers did
We knew what we were going to get with this roster before the start and we got it . It will stay like this for 2-3 more seasons as Lebron keeps targeting and achieving his personal goals . Big picture , Jeanie can't surround herself with competent people . We will be below average to average until we acquire a great player in his prime whose goal is to win
This seems to be a big problem. Aside from the scouting department we don’t really inspire greatness in our leadership roles.
To be fair, at least the Lakers won a title in the last couple season. Cowboys haven't even been to a conference title game since the conference realignments in 2002.
I said it 8 games in - not a playoff team. No consistency and too much iso by Ad and Bron. And now Bron with his annual January-February break. Nothing really enjoyable about this.
We deserve a joint press conference with Bron and AD where they are honest about the Russ acquisition. This is all I want them to fess up to... AD Spoiler: Language Followed by Bron Spoiler: Language Then they can get up and leave.
You'll take any win you can get at this time of the year but poor poor habits if your goal is to be title contender. Down nearly 20 points in the 1st half. Blew an 8 point lead with 3 mins left. Winning against a 12th place team in the (L)eastern Conference who have their own chemistry problem shouldn't be this hard
IIRC, and I may be mistaken, it’s wins like this that are false hope when we look back at our record when all of our big three played. Most of our wins were unimpressive and against terrible teams.
Russ, THT and Ariza were poor tonight. Also with Melo injured our bench didn’t have any firepower because Monk was starting.
Yet again we give up a career high to some mediocre player in Barrett, and let a slumping guy in Randle break out of it and drop 32 on us. Just embarrassing. We beat the Knicks, we needed it, but I’m not celebrating that one, ugly as hell. Thank god for LeBron, AD, and Monk.
One of the most pathetic teams I have ever seen with two top 5 talents in the game in terms of focus and fundamentals. These missed free throws are just bad. Lakers have lost more games because of free throws than Shaq EVER cost the Lakers his entire 8 years in his Lakers career.
