Yeah I missed ONE..I guess that absolved the other 20 pts. Then again he did hit a 3 and gave up a layup, so he finished up plus1 against Levert for the 4th correct?

Let’s be frank here. It’s not looking good for the coach.

Yeah that Russ stuff doesn't cover up Frank's shortcomings though. There obviously seems to be those in the FO that haven't bought into its all about Westbrook spiel either. No..you see Frank Vogel is a professional basketball head coach. He is not a defensive specialist assistant. His job is to work with what he has available and win games. We should have won more than we have period. Including last night, that wasn't on Westbrook, that was on the coach. If he doesn't figure it out someone else will. Fortunately for them. They will have AD, Lebron and Westbrook to work with. Frank might not get that opportunity.

Naw. He can still turn it around, it might look unlikely at the moment. I don't want the guy to get fired, I'm not terribly impressed by him as a coach, but he never had a full deck to work with thus far either. It counts for something that we won a chip with him to me, even though I take some shots at him. He does needs to coach his a** off though, over these next 6-10 games, no doubt about it.

Russ played like doggie doo last night. But I agree with Slick, the main issue to me in the fourth most of which he sat, was that Vogel refused to play Dwight on Sabonis and didn’t ever put Johnson on LeVert. It made zero sense. Stanley literally saved us against Utah and yet while LeVert abused our small guards Vogel wouldn’t put him on him to cool him down. Sabonis and LeVert took over with a two man game and we made no adjustments at all to slow them down. Melo wasn’t the guy to do it and AB and THT are too small. Vogel should have done something.

This all day. Frank is not some total idiot, but he is prone to silly rotations or he is slow to make, what seems to be an obvious adjustment too many times in games. Sometimes it costs us games, he coaches like he has absolutely no fear of getting fired sometimes.. Now is not that time IMO. It's just as frustrating as Russ being erratic, Lebron dozing off and just launching wild random shots for no reason, or AD not getting his head into a game, until after the half. These things can cost us wins...they all deserve the criticism when they do it IMO. The stars get more of a pass, because they are a lot harder to get rid of. A coach can get canned quickly, if it goes left, even one that won a recent Championship. I hope we right the ship, everyone has to step up, including Vogel.

I'd do it in a heartbeat: Westbrook sucks and trading him for took away most of our assets

Yeah it's bizarre. It's not that Vogel has been great: he hasn't and his insistence on going with drop coverage when going small ball with midget players is frustrating as hell.

He should be playing a more 5 out switching defense with the young guys with Lebron and then use Dwight with midgets guards so he can help with his drop coverage.

That being said it doesn't absolve Westbrook and the problems are not mutually exclusive: Westbrook's anti gravity has forced small ball as he can only be in the dunker spot so your offense with a traditional big won't work. And I can't emphasize he's playing defense like hes playing like an MVP caliber on offense so needs to rest. He's definitely not an MVP anywhere on the court

    I watched the game.
You obviously don’t understand that when a player goes 5-17 from the field and doesn’t care about playing defense, HE IS HURTING THE TEAM- NOT HELPING.

You never answer my questions directly.
I’m sure it’s because the truth is much different than the false narratives that you keep pushing.

    You
You don't ask serious questions, you just make a lot of broad silly statements posed as questions. Perhaps you should email Rob with you declarations, I'm sure he would appreciate your input. The false narrative, was that Westbrook somehow cost us the game, when he barely played in the 4th quarter.

So your idea is to trade him for a guy that has the same exact contract, and hasn't played all season. Then add another aging guard that is owed another 40 million dollars after this season? You complain about assets, but you want to give up more for that?No Bueno

Vogel is hurting the team with some of dumb decisions too. That keeps getting brushed off.
