We’ve done very well in the past with guys who came in with not so stellar reps:
    Nick tha Quick
    Horry
    Ron Ron
    Dwight(second stint)
    Monk

You can’t hide, you refuse to acknowledge the truth about your boy while continually throwing shade at Laker World Champs.

I was a Lakers fan before we drafted Magic dude. Perhaps you are more fond of a particular player than I am. It's about the team guy, always about the team. The players are all mercenaries, even the ones we drafted.

Yeah, hell no on Gordon or Ross for THT, just keep THT if that’s the market. Turner, Grant, ok, sure.

    Good for you, bro.
That has nothing to do with your rhetoric here this season.

Not sure why them being NBA champions had anything to do with the quality of a player? There are a handful of scrubs every year that become champions just by being on a roster, another handful who played rotational minutes and then 2-3 that made the championship possible.

Kuzma and KCP are rotational pieces - we can find other rotational pieces to win with. And they’re gone, so just let them go. It’s the 2-3 players every year that carry the majority of the load that are critical.

It has a lot to do with my perspective, call it rhetoric if you like.

THT, Reeves, Howard, Nunn and 2027 1st to Toronto for Trent, Svi, and Bonga.

Lakers get legit 3 and D wing player in Trent and open up a roster spot. Bonga is another big/long type defender. Svi is filler, but could provide the occasional highlight play like a Caruso. Raptors have previously shown interest in THT. Raptors improve their rim protection with Howard. Raptops also get another nice young player in Reeves, and a first rounder out of it. Trent is a valuable young type of player, on a fairly reasonable deal. He should retain his value, if the Lakers want to trade him later.

Booo on that trade. And stop trying to lose “Caruso” all over again and maybe even worse this time.

Kuz had one good (seeding) game in the bubble. His contribution to that title run was completely superfluous.

We would get a new Caruso type in Svi. He is a way better athlete than Reeves. Throws down dunks on people like Caruso. Reeves doesn't do that.

Reaves is already doing what Svi could not as a Laker in SHOOTING well plus all the other areas he is better than Svi already. Who gives a f*** if Svi has better off one foot dunk capability.

I was being a bit sarcastic about Reeves and dunking. I hear you though. Reeves could potentially be a decided factor in a trade, even though other teams may not value him as much as us. I would be open to it. Trent is a great prospect that helps us more right now.

I’m sorry but Svi is not even comparable to Caruso or Reeves
