Or they'll beat us by 30. Nothing surprises me with this team.

Best win and team effort of the year. Hopefully the Bron tweet was a turning point and not a 1 off.

The Jazz are the textbook definition of Pretenders.

I hope we somehow get this team in the first round. We play them 2 more times this year

Way to respond after that awful Denver game. We needed this one bad.

Reaves and Stanley were great all game.

    defense was locked it.

And Russ got some good plays in.

    Great effort by the team

If you're going to go small ball: go big at the other spots! Been pushing this all year and guess what the Lebron/Johnson/Reaves/THT/Monk lineups was actually good and was the lineup that won the game and played most of the 4th.

THrow in Bradley/Dwight and hopefully AD that a tough 8 man rotation there.

This Laker team was a 180 from the one in Denver the other night. From the jump. Great win, and nice respite from the insanity of watching them play in Denver.

That said, they played D. THEY PLAYED DEFENSE. Like muthahs. For, I'd gauge: 44 of 48 minutes. Solid. Holding the high-scoring Jazz to 95.

Still: there's something a bit unnerving about this roster. Look at our players. They DECIDE to play D and win? It's almost as if each guy is getting paid, like a million dollars a year, and they want to earn it! (I'm joking. It's dark humor.)

You get paid as much as you do, you still need to show you earn it. Summon the Mamba Mentality. Like they did tonight.

Can they keep it going? The Denver game says no, they won't. Let's see.

(Getting to look at Candace Parker on NBA-TV after the game was icing. Damn, that is one fine-looking woman.)

Sea level vs mile high plus 2 days taking it in the press and from Magic and LakersBall most importantly.

team rebounding was pretty solid. Team effort across the board. Minutes were pretty even as well except for the old guy. Which makes total sense.

ok, i'll have to watch this one to find out, but was their bad shooting just good luck for us or did they not get good shots? bogdanovic was 1-9, clarkson 2-13. if this were two years ago, i'd just assume we did that.

Some of both. Maybe they didn't have their legs coming off a back to back. There were missed open and good looks, but I'm going to give our defense credit too. We played good, consistent D for 42 minutes as a team.

I think it was both, they missed some open shots, but I also felt like we made them take a lot of tougher shots as well. Dwight was challenging shots in the paint, getting a lot of deflections, LeBron was more engaged on defense, Stan and Reaves got quality minutes and always play D, hell even THT had a nice block on a Mitchell drive to the hoop. They also got a decent amount of offensive boards from missing all those long shots, but it wasn’t like our guys weren’t hustling, they played very hard, ball was just bouncing Utah’s way. This was a quality win, no question, well worth a watch. They got down like 9-11 points in the 3rd and it started looking bad, but they didn’t quit, kept punching back with attacking the rim and play with energy as Stanley Johnson likes to say.

Nice game last night. If we could just keep our young guys: Reaves, Monk and Johnson, and let them play good minutes, I'd have a legit feeling that this team had some sense of direction.

Sounds more like they’re going to can the best coach by a long shot we’ve had since Phil and probably ship off more young talent. Better be THT if they have to. If Reaves goes too lock this puppy up. Ugggh!!

No doubt our roster construction has major problems, but a HUGE variable to our failures has been a lack of effort. Last night highlighted that.

Weird situation: young guys looks good. Reaves, Johnson, Monk, and THT all look promising lol.
