I doubt he will start, but he needs to be given the 30 minutes a game, and in the most important parts of each game. He looks like a ball handling, play making, scoring, defensive SF who can handle good PGs as well, to at least give them trouble and slow them down a bit ....out there, that by next year ought to be getting heavy minutes off the bench, or shifting from SG or SF if starting there .... at PG, if Vogel can't get to that role this year with him yet.
Who doesn’t cringe when you see him get clobbered and sent hard to the floor taking a charge. But he sure is tough and never shows the pain. Still … you (I) worry of course.
you bastard! anyway, i wonder if he carries much value in trade right now. we knew caruso was good long before the rest of the league did, and i bet we couldn't have traded him for much even after the title, tbh. people are too concerned with upside to recognize current production, imo. i'll be surprised if we trade reaves, in part because i'll be surprised that another team would fight to get him.
I hope you are right. Conversely, I hope you are wrong in that context about THT and teams would want him in a trade. Win-win. More time for AR.
we'll get lowballed on THT right now, but i get your angle. and that's why--even with his salary--i think he's more of a trade chip than reaves. you can envision THT becoming a sixth man of the year type. people just think they'll unearth a reaves themselves. but...almost nobody does. ever. again, dude is outperforming lotto picks left and right, imo.
Shoot the 3 Reaves: seemed a little hesitant tonight on his 3 ball and it looked like it messed up his rhythm. Anyways he makes positive difference no matter waht
Love his game, he’s so poised and makes the right plays, never seems to get flustered. That tip in off his own miss, that’s just effort and feel for the game, it’s instinct, can’t teach it, he just has it. That’s the sort of thing that will keep him in the league playing meaningful minutes even though he’s not very athletic.
