This is the general outlook from the team, because I've heard another player or two, including Bron, make the comp and they mentioned they've discussed this in the locker room. I get the Brady/Bron and bunch of mercenaries comparison. But the issue off the top is the Pacific isn't the weak a** NFC South (and this it coming from a Falcons fan).
We really need him out there. Ellington is filling in for him as a shooter and since we aren't running any action for him, he's useless out there.
This was inevitable, we played he way too many minutes this season so far. Hopefully he recovers and is able to come back to play a slightly reduced role.
Another reason we need Stan to stick, Ariza to get his legs back, and hopefully get SOMEONE on the wing/small-ball 4 and 5 via trade or buyout. Melo should never sniff 30+ MPG this year and honestly I wouldn't play him in back to backs. That second night is always brutal. That looks uncomfortably stiff. Let's get him on the Phoenix Nash regimen
Melo was bad this game. He’s get 10 technical fouls this year and he picks them up at the worst times. We have got to stop the Melo small ball center experiment.
He imploded: i thought he was good to start the game but then just way too quick of a trigger on the 3. Just seemed to rush his shots even when he was open
Tell that to the front office. Regarding his game tonight: mid range was great. 3 was not there and D...oh boy!
Not trying to defend Melo as his decision making on offense in the second half was bad (just rushed the 3's) but its also not his fault after missing a week at his advanced age that he gets thrown in there for 30 minutes and is expected to play C which hasn't worked at all. Those minutes should have gone to either Dwight or Stan
