I would be fine with losing both THT and Nunn for either Wood or Turner, because of their fit with AD, but if they demand Reaves as well, I’m hanging up.

Earlier in the year, there was a point where I thought people were overstating how good Kuzma was for Washington just to make us look bad. I remember looking at his box scores and they were pretty inconsistent. His overall numbers looked to be similar to what he was putting up for us.

So it caught me off guard when I checked up on him again recently and realized that he’s been absolutely KILLING it now for a while.

He has a real shot at player of the month for January. Averaging 25 points, 12 boards, 4 assists, 1 steal, 1 block on 53% scoring from the field.

Although his success serves as a further slap in the face about how bad the trade was for us, I’m happy to see him doing well

Woods wasn’t drafted and was in and out of the G-League. He never got an opportunity to actually be a rotation player until he got to Detroit. So I don’t know if it’s fair to hold is first several years against him.

The appeal for Woods is the same as Turner. A big man who can play somewhat like a traditional center, but also has the ability to space the floor. On paper, both Woods and Turner seem to me like very good compliments for AD.

Because we aren't getting another franchise caliber player anytime soon , and at 14 million per, he is a great bargain for the production level.

If Vogel can have his way, we get Turner and he'd do really well here. If it's too late to put the genie back in the bottle with this small ball thing, then give me Grant.

No interest in Gordon unless he's bought out first.

Ross I like but not at his price vs. our assets. Only thing i could come up with that i would do with the Magic...THT, Nunn, DJ for Ross, Bamba, and both of their 2nd rounders this year (their own + Indy's) both should be in low 30s and is as good as a 1st rounder, just without the guaranteed $. Our scouts could net us two more studs there. Also clears us a roster spot for the buyout market. And out of our rumored targets, this deal would still be at the bottom of my list.

Wood, no. Locker room issues. Lazy. Not smart. No D. Lots of empty numbers.

When thinking of a THT/Nunn trade package, I didn’t necessarily envision him just as salary filler. I thought our best chances of getting someone to bite on that package would be if they saw actual on-court value in Nunn.

His setback makes me think it’s even less likely we pull off any meaningful trades.

Yeah, I’m personally not too high on Woods. But I think the fit does make sense. He’s on the border of the players I’d consider pulling the trigger on a THT trade for.

Yeah, nobody’s going to take him now. Maybe he will come back with a few weeks left in the season and ball out?
    Maybe not.

I don’t think nunn’s setback affects anything. His value was just expiring salary, mostly, imo. Nobody was trading for him the player, even if he came back and played well.

    You could be right.
Bummer for me, because of all our signings this summer, I was hyped to see what he would bring.

Agreed. I've always only looked at him, trade wise, as a contract. Also if he doesn't opt out, which he might not do if he can't get on the court this year, the idea of a team getting him next season on a deal they typically wouldn't be able to could be attractive. Cause he wouldn't have taken the mini MLE from Detroit or Indy last summer.

THT + 2027 pick + Nunn. Fits their ask.

    Here's their ask for LeVert

    The price for Gordon
    Just say no

I would offer them THT or Nunn plus a first for Turner.
    The other two- no thanks.
