lol the lakers making the list of top teams.

but it's still correct that they've been legit this year. of course the flip side of that stat is that they've got a bunch of puzzling losses to teams they should beat as well. still, they should be happy that they've shown they can beat the big dogs.

I don't understand how the Grizz are this good. Really. Ja is fine, but not this fine.

Yeah. I'm just not a believer. The Grizz are honestly going to have to win it all to change my mind.

Outside of this bizarro version of AD we saw this year: he absolutely dominated Jaren Jackson in the past. If the Laker get that AD back (I mean what he used to do KAT and seeing the opposite this year was a shock), the Lakers should be a legit title contender now that they have actual NBA players now.

Now will return to that form? No idea, but he was so dominant so recently that one hopes he can

i don't get memphis, either. and some nights you tune in and they look like exactly what you'd expect.

the one thing i'll say is that--maybe aside from jackson--they have a full-on lunchpail type team, including ja. they go to work and value the little things.

jackson has to be infuriating if you're a grizz fan. just a ton of natural ability, and he's still not really putting it together. i watched the end of the game last night, and he had some great defensive plays and rebounds down the stretch, and i was like: i've never seen this version! but apparently, it's because he rarely makes an appearance. he's like what lakers fans say AD is.

i think the announcers in the game last night said it was the first time in his career he posted back to back double doubles. i couldn't believe it and quickly looked at some game logs. omg.

The lunchpail team is exactly why they’ve been as good as they have this season.

Ja, Bane, Brooks all have a little grit and grind in them that Memphis loves. Clarke and Adams too.

Just gonna tell myself these games are “meaningless” without a healthy —and motivated— AD. As long as that’s on the table, we’ll always have an outside chance of winning the championship.

Not sure where to post this, but this year is wide open.

Nets only have half of Kyrie and KD injured his MCL and is out for a while.

Curry is struggling in the golden state area while Draymond has disc problems and Klay is just coming back from almost 3 years off.

Lavine has a knee injury in Chi town. While Denver are missing their second and third best players.

The clippers are missing both of there stars while Ben Simmons is still MIA.

Boston is imploding and Miami isn’t healthy either.

Really only PHX and The bucks have any kind of continuity and health.

The Lakers, as of today, are 5-11 against teams over .500

That is nothing to be happy about. Sorry.

Wouldn't be surprised if Lakers win tonight. Jazz are 5-5 in the last 10 games and they come in tonight in the 2nd game of a back to back from Denver
