Feels like a lot of us have been cautious to embrace Bradley because of how he didn’t come to the bubble with our 2020 championship team. But right before the 2020 regular season got suspended at the start of Covid, AB was the talk of the town. He had just come off an excellent game where he was a big contributor to us beating the Clips, and we were ecstatic about how well he was playing for us. Now that his contract is guaranteed, I think it’s becoming apparent to me that Bradley has played just as good, if not better, than he was playing pre-bubble. We’re very lucky to have picked him back up off waivers! It’s not talked enough about how smart of a basketball player he is. The rest of the team can learn a thing or two from him about off-ball movement. It’s like he’s one of the only guys who realize that if you just make smart, aggressive cuts to the basket, we have some elite playmakers that will find you for the easy score. I was also impressed to hear him describe in his post-game interview last night that his aggression on offense was a conscious strategy … for defensive purposes. He acknowledged that one of the better ways to defend a guard like Trae Young, is to tire him out by being aggressive on offense, force Trae to chase him around.

I never understood why he garnered so much disdain from folks here when his shots weren’t falling when he was the only guy besides AR15 who gave 100 on every defensive play. I love his defense first mentality and hope he remains a Laker until retirement.

he can't keep guards like young in front of him anymore, so he does a ton of work off the ball on them, which is useful and maybe takes more dedication and focus. he did a good job making young have to put it on the floor and go instead of allowing him time to plan his moves, too. it led to some lobs for them, but kept young out of shooting rhythm.
Bradley like AC and KCP are not equipped to defend against size. Tough game for him against Memphis. Have to consider this and go with more Reaves and Ariza in these matchups
Reaves keeps looking better on D as he gets more playing time & trending upward. Come on Frank you know you want to!
It’s really not hard to notice when our defense is struggling. Frank, put in one of your best defenders!
Bradley turned out to be one of the better additions when no one expected him to be. I would keep him for next season tbh
