When you say stupidest game of the year, you're talking about this calendar year of 2022, correct?

 

No I meant this season actually. Has there been a worse one? I literally counted like 10-11 brain farts. He had 5-6 in the first 4-5 minutes of the game.

 

Might be on our way to 10 in a row. Nobody said it would be pretty tho

Haven't lost since Vogel came back.

Both THT and Russ played their most laid back/ controlled game of the year. Did Vogel give them edibles? The team only had 5 TOs. Any game we have 3 players who are capable of turning it over 5 times by themselves... or 10 times..... :cough: Russ: cough:

 

only 5 TOs is outstanding. maybe even a little too conservative. but a veteran team shouldn't be turning it over like we have, so it's good to see any progress on that front.

They all carried us for their quarter.

 

A whole team effort. We shot 50/40/90 as a team. Defence was on point team wide.

This is how we need to play, aggressive D with aggressive transition offence. Use Lebron, Russ and THT to attack the paint while we have shooters spotting up. Post up Melo and Lebron in half court.

 

My Optimistic take on the Lakers…

Vogel will Figure out the Defense as the Season goes on.. & they have enough Vets & overall talent to figure out the Offensive side of things… Come Playoff time, they’ll have enough Vet savvy to pull it off.

Pipe dream, but I think this is their game plan.

I don’t expect any major trades.

 

Who wasn’t thrilled to see AR-15 put up that beautiful 10’ floater and know now he can do those too?

Austin is getting better each game it seems almost with his man to man defense. He’s looking quicker and staying in front better while usually tasked with guarding the opponent’s best player. The staff still wanting see just how effective he can be and what he can do. I keep watching and keep thinking he might have or be real close to the Eagle’s running speed in the open court when he has to turn it on. And more really nice “basketball plays” from AR.

 

Big game against Memphis next. It’s going to be real important for playoff seedings at the end of the season. We need this one.

 

A win is a win. I will take it.

Effort has improved and the team seems to at least be developing some chemistry. We need to keep the momentum going.

 

Need to focus on grabbing the 4th spot, not settling for the 5th. There's 4 other teams within a game of us and Dallas and Memphis are putting up some strong wins lately.

Really enjoying the games lately, seeing the passion in the new guys and not just Russ/Lebron..

 

imo, it's imperative to get into the top 6, and i'd prefer to avoid utah as well. but avoiding the play-in and the two top teams in the first round is best. especially given that both teams rely on small guards who tend to wear down.

i think we can overtake dallas without too many issues, and i think memphis is out of reach. but we need to get a cushion on denver and the clippers, because both teams might be getting stars back that can drastically improve them.

 

Agreed. If we can get a cushion now then we will be even better off when AD gets back.
