I’m still holding out for a salary dump/wipe the slate clean for one Franchise in order to take him off our hands(obvious issue is the players coming back would need to be useful to us). It’s not a sure thing, but it does happen in the NBA.

I was wrong on WB and THT. More wrong than I have ever been on two players.

i didn't like the russ trade but thought it was better than a hield trade. i didn't think it would go this poorly.

i'm still not sure THT is as bad as he looks. but yes, he's looked bad.

If you’re calling SJ a true big, what is LeBron? Hint he’s bigger than SJ. And Ariza is … ding ding ding …. Taller, even if not as “thick”.

THT needs the ball in his hands to be effective. I would have him run the second unit. I have no idea as to why the coaching staff hasn’t figured this out yet. Not everyone can be productive as a spot up shooter, playing alongside side two guys who also need the ball and also need to be in the paint to be effective.

Okay, if you want to classify any forward as a big, than fine. What I meant by “big” are those guys you can play a lot of time against the traditional Big Centers that we still have in the game.
I’m not a fan of playing LeBron as a “big” at Center. Yes, against smaller teams, that don’t play a traditional C, some time there is cool, but obviously, you don’t have him in there against guys like Adams and Embiid.
SJ is thick enough to spend sometime at C against the big boys. We already know Ariza doesn’t have enough in the back pocket to cover traditional bigs, but can be effective for short spans up against forwards like JJJ who we saw last night.

LeBron is possibly thicker too than SJ but neither one of them should be matched up against strong 7 footers.

Wouldn't mind grabbing Marcus Smart if we could. Limit AB's minutes.

Leave it to Hollinger to use the word "surely" when he knows absolutely nothing about the Lakers. It's become evident that a glaring problem on this team is the abundance of guards, but yeah, "surely" that's what the team is hoping to trade for right now.

Also, note the teams that the 3 players he listed play for. Those are 3 teams that have zero interest in making a deal with the Lakers.

Let's chalk up this Hollinger talk to what is always is: a big nothing burger.

    :This:
He’s a PG that our staff has stubbornly tried to convert into a small forward.

Well, compared to AR who is a better point guard I am certain, THT ought to be happy as a SG. Except he can’t.

Meh, we need to get rid of DJ and Baze, not Rondo.

Yeah that’s what we need, an 81st guard.

weird that we'd trade rondo and that cleveland would want him. weird all around.

btw, if rondo is ok with being moved, you know the ship is sinking.
